No sound.. and the flow is much to quick. For a person who has little to no idea what Grails is, this video is a waste of time.

The compilation time must take a lot longer in my simple PC. :D
As far as I know with Play Framework you don't have to recompile each time you make a change. Thumbs Up for Play Framework :D

Database configuration goes in grails-app/conf/DataSource.groovy. Check the Grails user guide, section 3.3 (can't seem to post a link).
The default is an in-memory HSQLDB instance, but it's very easy to set up MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.

So how do you hook in the database? My IDE is separate from the database server...where is the setup for that?
