ok what about plyometric interval training. it seems to cover both worlds: explosiveness and endurance. the entire point of interval training is to get the heart rate up as fast as possible, and take it up to right above endurance training. this uses up fat energy instantly and works on atp's faster.
so a plyometric interval would fit perfectly. no need to use more than an entire 10 ft area to do it in. can do it in your bedroom.
plyometrics is meant to build fast, strong and lean muscle. Its basically used for boxers, mma fighters, special forces...etc. Its not meant to look good its suppose to make you the best, and it does help allot with endurance, if you do it right.
Plyometrics are GREAT for "fast burst" actions... such as acrobatics, leaps, and quick to hit and go moves. Depending on the muscle set you train... they can be EXCELLENT for overall fitness, agility, and basically just resilience.
Acrobatic "dudes" or tricksters/gymnasts who do these kinds of actions make their lives easier!! :)
plyometrics is mainly used to improve the nervous system's function, you probably won't fatigue enough for endurance benefits, all you needs is sets of 12 reps.
thanks bro thats a good tip. i've been weight training for a long time and have recently began to look into + start training with more advanced techniques for sport-specific ideals. I play soccer recreationally and am of quite a solid build, so i like to suprise people with my speed and agility, i just don't want it to be at the expense of my joints and ligaments, but of my anaerobic and aerobic energy systems!
is these stuff good for parkour? and wats plyometry?

It helps in all areas of explosiveness, including running, sprinting mainly, jumping, and agility. 3 sets of 10 reps each are good!

One thing to keep in mind while doing these jumps. Keep eyes and head straight ahead. Do not look down at your feet.
