I finished in three hours, during that time I saw the sky go from pitch black and full of stars to the sunrise. It was they most spiritual experience that I have ever had, especially that moment when all of the bugs start flying around in the morning and everything is feasting. I love that feeling of being one with nature, its euphoric.

And it does filter the smoke, but only really the part that is in contact with the water, that's why it's better to have small slits to increase the surface area, giving better filtration.
