This song to me epitomizes the love of the earth... how solitude can bring out the best of our souls, the healing of what God has given us to enjoy in nature.. to marvel, contemplate our connections to it... to revel in its goodness... the jazzy, funky music of JCY can only fill the night skies with such splendor that words can never convey the thoughts, the nuances that reverberate in my head since the first time I heard it back long ago... although I now live in Illinois...my heart in Cali..
@azuquita53 I remember them so well, i was back in high school my self.....everybody in the bay area knew those radio station.....sure do miss those days !!!! and the bay area even though it's been 6 years since i have moved away.....
Johnny was just afraid of power and genius. Hats off to Mr. Young, but I think he wouldn't like us to judge, lest we be judged. (Easy for me to say, time will tell if I can do as I advise.) This is an incredible number, and brings out a serious, but magical feeling in me. Apologies if I'm sounding a little heavy! Still smilin'...
Love this song Loved the land I played it for ,Loved the man whom was supposed to be with me there but it's lost to POT now and so is he..... i can't have my best friend or the ridge. but I still love this song, thanks for posting

It was music like this that made the FM of the 70's untouchable.
Fuck you consultant bastards. You ruined a great art form.
