The true grave digger axeman is and will always be Uwe Lulis. Manni Schmidt was great, Axel Ritt is very good, but Lulis is the one for GD. Yeah, the grave digger and rheingold are great albums... but NOTHING compared to the heart of darkness or tunes of war. Listen to Circle of witches or the bruce, killing time, fanatic assassins. There the true digger lies.
from my view, great THANKS at Axel Ritt. You're a great Guitarist you know that! Thanks for doing the Grave Digger AXE!
and now for the previous Guitarists of Grave Digger: Pleeeeaaasssee join the band on STAGE at Wacken and perform the songs you wrote for this band! it's 30 Years anniversary!!
i still got a video of Grave Digger Clan Leader's birthday song in Z7 pratteln... want me to upload it?:)
Grave Digger without Manni Schmidt is not the same thing... Manni is the best guitar player they ever had. Just listen THE GRAVE DIGGER from 2001... 10x better than Excalibur, Tunes of War or any other album
Ahhhh this video is pretty weak; it provides no insight at all, other than letting us hear their jailbreak cover from the last album, which was horrible. I used to be a huge Grave Digger fan but i agree with miaoxite's comment that The Grave Digger was the last good album. Every album has gotten worse since Uwe left. But Rebellion gets better with every album, in my opinion. For me Rebellion is the real path from the good old Grave Digger days!
'The Grave Digger' (2001) was the last good record by GD: a real monsterpiece! After it, the same power shit metal all the times, I believe the next one will continue this stupid way. What will be the next step? Will GD change its name into Digger?
I hope no but i think Grave Digger is going to dig its own grave...
