James has a great voice, but he strains his voice and can oversing. Phillip's voice is more precise and floats along better than James's.

Hmm.. I think James was simply being polite. Phillip has a 'nice' voice. James has an 'incredible' voice. Listen to James' "Always You" CD. Pure vocal talent.

Does anyone know why philip did not blow up like james on the music scene? I think he is just as talented. I know about the switch years and that Bobbie great voice was everything. Also Switch were supergreat musicians, they were called switch for their ability to switch instruments between songs. This is a great song and philips voice is very nice. He lost the lion mane over the years.

I remember him from Switch....even as a 10 yr old I knew he was a good singer(and a cutie pie). I just found out he and James are brothers! Talent runs in that family.

This dude has a nice sound. I think in Switch he was kind of over shadowed by Bobby DeBarge's voice and good looks. Then his brother James Ingram blew up in the 80's.
