I have that same play pen and I would make a cage into it but my cavy jumps out of it and shes only like 6 months. I'm planning on breeding my guinea pigs again and do what your doing. I have a rescue piggy named Tina and she had 6 babies in one litter. They all survived and found loving homes.

thats so adorable, i respect you for making a huge cage etc.. and they have cages and are allowed to run freely during the day.

Hee hee, well, that was their extra-special setup in my room... their normal run, though, is still twelve square feet (the sows live together).
