Well the Bible teaches of evolution, if you look in Genesis God needed something to create. It says that man was created from the dust of the Earth, but does not explain how long it took. It also said that Eve was created by a rib from Adam, sounds like God needed DNA to make woman also does not explain how long it took. There is no scientific evidence for God, until the day someone can give me that there simply is no. Why not just accept that some things we do not know yet? Well the Bible teaches of evolution, if you look in Genesis God needed something to create. It says that man was created from the dust of the Earth, but does not explain how long it took. It also said that Eve was created by a rib from Adam, sounds like God needed DNA to make woman also does not explain how long it took. Adam and Eve did have primitive minds like brains of a 3 year old child. Can't throw the concept of Evolution away due to Religion. God is not magic or tinker bell.

Sigh. First, as Kid already explained, we did not evolve from monkeys. Secondly, when a species evolves, it does not automatically kill off the species it evolved from. Evolution is not the spontateous change in organism, it happens throughout generations. Thank you for sharing your ignorance on the topic.

I could go the opposite direction and make the "god of the gaps" arguement. If you are unfamiliar with the arguement it basically says that god is merely a way of filling in the blanks in current scientific knowledge. The only true gap there is to dissproving the god of the main surviving religion is how life began, once we understand this scientifically, the need for a god is destroyed.

I wouldnt really consider 200 years "age old". However, evolution has been proved by science. Organisms evolving is fact. Saying that nothing evolved into everything is stupid, because just because we are not sure what the first organisms are, does not change the fact that animals DO evolve.

This isnt a "there is no god" arguement this is an "evolution is true" arguement. How does the fact that we cant trace the heritage of every species back billions of years to more than likely single celled organism does not change the fact that animals have evolved.

I believe in A God, not the Christian God, no God from any specific or organized religion, just simply a connection between me and that God. I also believe in Evolution, the way I see it is, no matter what happened, how we evolved, something had to be here before nothing to make anything happen at all.
