  • What section are you more comfortable with and why ?

  • Thnx for the vid I only hot till this week to prepare :)

  • I have to learn this song by next week, and I think I'm ready. (I'm a guy by the way)

  • this is so nice! Very very nice!(: i have to sing this song for tomorrow and im so nervous because i started singing it today and its so hard to sing this song like him!

    very good job!

  • I've got a month to learn this song. :/ I'll be viewing this a lot :)

  • @TabiTragic0 I'm glad the video can help. My son is now applying to grad school hoping for Manhattan School of Music or McGill university.

  • I have to sing this with 3 other people for my Choir final... Its hard ;(

  • @Webski1000 Good luck man. I know how it is. Just good luck.

  • You are such a life savor! I keep kicking myself because I can't get a couple of things right. Thank you! I now have some hope. :)

  • @ambea7 I'm glad my son could help you. All the best on your performance!

  • I was looking at the book 26 Italian songs and arias. The Sebben Crudele I see is so different from the one you sang. How come? The one I read has little notes all over and crazier in terms of melody. Does that make sense to you?

  • What a beautiful voice for a young boy! It is big, round and beautifully toned! How old are you? I hope you do O Cessate di Piagarmi! Excellent work!

  • Wow this was really good, i am doing this beautiful piece for the solo and ensemble when it come that time again. I will definitatly be listening to him to pick up some tips as well.

  • I love this :)) Love your placement, and love your interpretation and the quality of your voice...in other words, im jealous :)

  • Your voice is superbeautiful, really nice to listen to :) I really like the way you sing this song, kinda melancholic... it fits the meaning of the lyrics so much :)

  • Very well done. t's should be softer, however. i think that the breath taken at 1:40 (fe-dele) is unecessary. keep the word a full out complete word. :) Otherwise, something to be proud of for sure! thanks for the vid.

  • @miiuska52

my bad! i meant to write at approx.1:48

  • hes so awesome, i would epically high five this guy if i ever met him!!!!

  • so nature and very pleasant to listen to. I really this version.

  • Very nice and a beautiful tenor, I realy like it. I learn solo singing and I heard many beautiful tenors. But you are one of my favourit. I only don't like Italian speaking. It's different if you live far from Italia and if I live next to Italy (Slovenia). Maybe if you like, you can listen my videos on youtube, they are old and I learnd more new and better tehnics, but I hope that you will enyoj while you will watching my videos.Look on ŽIVA JONA BANČIČ. :D :D ŽIVA

  • I liked his tone

  • I'm glad I can listen to you for help!~ I may be a Soprano, but the quality of this helps me learn it. Especially the text.

  • seben crudele = though not deserving

  • excellent voice! I would like to say that stylistically, you probably should not sing so straight through this piece. Also, please remember not to make too many motions with your hands throughout, only what is helpful in communicating what you are singing. Anything else is only distracting. Thank you for singing, please don't ever stop! :)

  • Rocked the low version :)

Watch where you take that breath :)

  • hi im in 8th grade but suprisingly i have the voice to sing like that and so im using this song to try the solo ensemble and its working for me especially when i can listen to keith sing!

  • im going to be singing this at solo and ensemble. my voice teacher wanted me to listen to some version on youtube. i think this was the one. it was assigned last week

  • words words words....

lyrics are part of the music.. I don't believe you truly understood what the lyrics meant.

Nice voice, but not enough I believe....

  • Beautiful voice. Best I've heard sing this. Good luck to you. :)

  • This is really really excellent! Great job!

  • la tUa ... la TUa is bad ... lol You are a greath singer little boy ....

  • anyone else think that the pianist looks like robin williams in 1 hour photo?

  • WOW!! You have awsome tone and vowels! Keep singing your awsome!

  • 'fah-e' is how your pronounce it btw :p and your 'guir' sounds very Scottish

  • Hi Keith, You have a very beautiful voice, keep working on it. A few suggestions : - work on your breathing technique - improve your pronounciation of italian language - mean what you sing - avoid repeating over and over the same gestures (hands and balancing) You can become a very good singer, let me know when you have new posts here ! Cheers, Man. (Arlesheim, Switzerland)
  • Stay still when singing, and keep your head up. Otherwise you're wasting energy that you could have put into the song....

  • Il timbro è piacevole discreto anche il fraseggio... con piccoli errori.

Scarsamente approfondito il discorso interpretativo che in questa aria è fondamentale per differenziare gli inserti ripetuti...

    Buono studio!

  • Very nice! Good voice and BEAUTIFUL song!!! One of my absolute favorites!!! :D

  • Amazing voice, keep up the great work! I would buy a CD if you had one :)

  • Beautiful.

  • U hav really gud tone and diction, but work on stage presence *ur hand moving are a distraction

  • did he ask for your criticism?

  • although it was some really pointless criticism i would disagree. If he cared whether people critisized him or not he wouldnt have posted the video...neither should anyone else that puts up a video. You either have a self-esteem made a steel...or shut up and remove your video.

  • If you post a video, then you should accept that there might be some. And he is right, the arms are distraction, and would be picked on by any voice teacher (good one) at any university.

  • @mastro82mp Italians do talk with their hands...not that I'm taking sides. But, yes, arm movement is a voice teacher's favorite thing to pick at.

  • @EmberQZ912995 I'm Italian, and talk w/ my hands all the time. But its not appropriate for the stage. Our voice program teaches, use your hands if it really means something to you, but don't let it distract from the voice.

  • One of my favorite male voice interpretations. Good job and good singing future to you Keith!

  • This is my allstate audition also. It's a great song.

  • you are the best guy i heard sing this song

i got to try out for all state choir with this song so im study guy versions to help and yours help me alot

  • Thank you for the comment. Keith is in second year studying voice performance. All the best on you all-state choir audition!

  • @nzzj7k where?

  • @mastro82mp He attends a small college in Michigan called Rochester College. His first singing teacher was on faculty there. The school is putting on Les Miserable in the Fall and he's hoping to play the role of Javert. Thank-you for the comments.

  • @lerken13 many other singers who are opera singers will sing this much better..seems like this kid isn't majoring in opera, and I don't think any other vocal style can make this song sound very good.

  • This was really good. You have a great voice! I hope you go on to use it!

  • He hopes to continue to sing. He's in 2nd year studying voice performance. He made their honour choir (8 person men's group) that will be doing some travel.

  • where is he studying at?

  • Every single time you sing the run you always breath le and ti. Think No Breathe. And I have no idea why but you like to take a pause between glio and a-mar. You're getting the rit. assai correctly which is good, and your tone quality is very nice. remember not to breathe on those runs, its like pausing for a long time during a sentence.

  • you did well. I might be singing this for Wisconsin's Solo n' Ensamble.

  • That was great Kieth..

I sung this at Detroit's Solo n Ensemble my junior year with was also my first year in choir and I received a 1 rating, that was great keep up the good work

  • Wow, that was like beautiful...

As everyone is saying. easily the best version on Youtube, hands down.

He's like, a god at this! Haha.

    Really amazing, Magnificent! :]

  • cool

  • ur really good n

i have to sing this song

    2 trout for chambers

  • hey ya i was wondering if u had the piano part for this song,,..like just the piano part...

  • yea i do why do u ask ?

  • really good job.

i am singing that for my voice lesson.

    its a beautiful song. :]

  • Great performance, only it's "sempre" not "semper", which is Latin. But hey, that's only one puny little thing.

Fact is, you have a fantastic voice! :)

  • He was saying sempre, but you can't tell because of the quality of the video.

  • Great but watch the dynamics and the breathing a little more.

  • Actually the only dynamics used for this time period of composition would be terraced dynamics. I thought the dynamic level was fine.

  • Very nice voice!!!!!!

  • I've been watching a lot of these videos on youtube, and you are the best by far! good job

  • Very nice male voice. I quite envy you:-)Keep the good work

  • What an amazing voice! WOW.

  • This is so awesome.

I'm doing this piece at a solo&ensemble contest on Saturday and my choir director told me to look him up... i'm glad i did!

  • Thanks so very much! Keith performed this at his solo & ensemble and got a #1 rating. Good luck!! He's enjoying university now.

  • @nzzj7k thts alwesome what class was this peice in for him?

  • Young Mr. Honda does a very nice job on this piece.

  • that was really good....but if u were nervous u definately showed it...., you gotta stay still alittle more...communication should happen through the face

but you have a beautiful tone

  • Golly man, what a beautiful tone. Your vowels could be a little purer, but that's being super picky. Easily the best version I've heard on youtube.

  • awsome. wish my voice teacher would let me sing that low. 1st tennor is nice and all, but it gets REALLY high.

  • holy hell.. that was beautiful! best version yet on youtube^^ no doubt

  • awesome! i will be sure to look out for keith honda in the future

  • I feel that keith honda's voice is really beautiful. I am not someone who is really good or what. but after singing along with this video, just made me realised that this song needs a whole lot of breath. AWESOME sustaining of the intensity! but i do feel the sound can be free up by opening the throat more. nevertheless, its still a very nice sound of a gentleman. =D

  • Thank-you for the comment. My son is studying music at university in hopes of being an opera singer.

  • Haha I was scrolling through the Sebben Crudele's and I found this! I know Keith! He was the president of his h/s choir. Where was this?

  • This was from Keith's Senior recital. He's studying music at university.

  • thats right rep the bass- baritones WOOT WOOT!!!!!!!!!!

  • you have a great voice! keep singing!

  • Good voice, great work.

Small thing: a bit too much hand movement, it shows nervousness and does not create good stage presence. This is something that all of us as singers battle with, I do too. :-)

  • I liked IT!!!!

  • More facial expression to tell the story, not bad... nice voice. Use dynamics more, you stay quiet for alot time.
