Its called the Granada swap. You use spindles and disc from a 75-76 Granada. I found mine on ebay. I am sure there is a website that will explain what all you need to do. Motor mounts I am not sure, the 302 was already in the car when I bought it. Hope that helps.
@49salasr Any Pinto Maverick Torino Granada ETC will work. I did a swap for a 1967 Ford Failane and used Maverick Spindles and booster.Disc help when slowing actual lead. Nothing like old muscle, new cars smell good but they are like a new pretty wife, when the wrapper is off your like wtf how am i gonna pay for this lol
I just started to really try and sell it. I have reduced the asking price to $16000.00. and yes the drum brakes were scary, so i did the granada front disc brake conversion on it. much safer and they work great.
hey yea i just put a new 302 in my 63 fairlane and was wondering about youe exhaust system like did you buy a kit from flowmaster or something or what did you use i still have stock exhaust on mine.
the only thing that will fit are hooker supercomp headers. trusts me on this, lots of other brands say they will fit and they do not. The super comp headers are expensive, and once installed getting to the plugs is not easy. I can send you pics or up load close up shots so you can see.
hey that is one wicked fairlane!! what do you have in it? i always hated fords due to a uncle i didn't like...thats all he ever talked about when i was a kid..now have a 61 fairlane i am restoring. but i really like the 63 models they still have the fin unlike the 64's. and they are small unlike the car i got! would you sell the car?
It has a 302, 5sp tremec, 373 true trac rear end, front disc brake conversion, poly graphite bushings, and so much more. Sure I would take $20,000.00 for it.
Great job!!!

So, did it sell? What are/were you asking?
Any brake upgrades? I am tired of drum brakes overheating, does make some great stories if you live to tell about it!

Great work! I've got a stock 6 in good shape. It's great to see these 63's with serious HP.

nice. your wheels are backwards though.
billcavazos 3 years ago
those wheels are directional so unless you get a left and right set one side will always look backwards
