@TheNewAmericanMedia The march to city hall was the highlight for me. I think it was a great release for everyone to let our voices be heard, and to receive such overwhelming support from passerbys and people in cars. The one thing uniting people is their outrage and sense that things must change, but I would like to see more people focusing on the Fed and this crony monopolist system. A lot of people are mistakenly blaming free market capitalism, when that is not what we have today.

@scovell7 You are very right. We haven't had much of a real capitalist system for a while.

Government keeps trying to jump in and save the day, and they end up making things worse. Not all the time, but less than a 50% average.

I'd prefer that we just deal with our serious problems, & let capitalism let lousy business decisions be rewarded with bankruptcies, & failures.

Anyone with a "corporation" sign needs to learn that the federal reserve private corporation intentionally devalues U.S. money.

I think more accurately, many libertarians believe that it is our INDIVIDUAL duty to help the poor on a local level, and eliminate some governmental corruption & graft that siphon precious money away from the people who need it most.

@TheNewAmericanMedia I couldn’t make it but i was able to hit the Occupy Orange County event. They had about 300- 400 people. It was peaceful and we got allot of support by passing cars. I just hope it made an impact somehow... Maybe woke a few more people up to the issues.

They need to list some demands that will actually help this country get back on its feet in the long rather than themselves temporarily.

If they want to limit the politicians from rigging capitalism to benefit those in a select oligarchy, then I am in favor. World government is not the answer. Ending the Fed, aside from being a pipe dream, would more likely benefit the rich. A deflationary currency like gold would end up benefitting the rich more than regular working people. And Ron Paul is and always has been a Republican.

He has never voted for an unbalanced budget.

He has never voted for a federal restriction on gun ownership.

He has never voted to raise congressional pay.

He has never voted to increase the power of the execuctive branch.

He voted against the Patriot Act.

He returns a portion of his annual congressional office budget to the U.S. Treasury every year.

@Justmykeshow You are right. What matters, is a sound currency. When it costs $50 to fill a gas tank, and $200 to grab a few bags of groceries,... the main problem facing the U.S. becomes crystal clear.

If you are concerned about the internet being shut down, then research "Internet Kill Switch" "S.F. B.A.R.T. internet blackout" and most importantly, the innocent sounding, but poisonous "Net Neutrality" legislation being pushed by Henry Waxman.
