GWL1961 is right had custom combiner come with a 9660sts had crazy after growth in wheat uncle has a case 1680 he used in wheat no after growth i was surprised that a 30 year old combine out performed a new one..
Great job on the filming! I can't tell you how much this video means to me.
I don't listen to rock music much, but that Foo Fighters song always made me think of combines going through the fields in the fall harvest -- it just triggers those memories for some reason. Anyway, it made my day today... thank you so much!
at heggy92 um cats suck in mud we had three of them and all they did was turn themselves into a big pill of shit that they couldnt get out of so now we have 2 quadtracks and there fuckin beasts in mud
If you would be more observant and look past the immediate then you might have noticed that the 700 series challenger had tanks on the inside of the tracks. It also had on some skiny belts that would probably mean that it is used for spraying. CNH doesnt make a tracked tractor in that size and the video is called Tracking Down the Field
@stewie38513, obviously, because they perfected tracked tractors, and perfected the rotary combine. as soon as the patent on "the quad track design" runs out, you ll see all the other major manufacturers producing copy cats. i guarantee. JD and CAT tracked tractors are garbage in wet conditions, and can't turn when in mud. JD copied case's single rotor design. f@ck you are a very un intelligent individual. please dont ever consider reproducing, and throw yourself under a bus
@lorider444 are u a spastic. A cat will fucking haul arse in mud. u obvioulsly have never driven one as I have the front idler berried and still driven it straight out, and quadtrac will just arrticulate them self into bog, to maybe you know your facts before speaking ;)
bom video gostei muito... a tecnologia de vc´s são mais avançadas q as nossas... a sorte de vc´s q ai tem o subsidio do governo... só q acho q vc´s logo vão perder o subsidio.....
oooo look at me i can haul ass while cutting beans with a 40 ft head. maybe in 10 years we will have one. that is one sharp looking rig though. i will say though that combine wont go that fast in rice with that header, or else youll be cleaning out the throat and the entire rotor. nice video
Another outstanding video from jlase! Im a case tech in southern michigan and we've got guys that cut beans with drapers around 8mph and have relitively no grain loss. A draper is designed for high speed high yeilding crop.
that thing is fricken huge. We were at missouri valley gettin parts from the case shop and i couldnt resist going to the shop and seeing them putting them tracks on.
the mother fucker is goin to damn fast!! take that nondriving son of a bitch off the combine. he needs to spend some time on the turn row. he is pushing the beans stalks down and half the grain. might need to check the sections on the cutter bars!!
i believe jlase knows alot about farming, and if he or anyone else was going too fast i think he would know, a 9120 is built to go faster than most, and with a draper header im sure it is feeding just fine.
hey asshole we pick beans at 8 mph with a 9610 john deere with no bean loss pickin 50+ bushels to the acre drop the reel down on the ground and haul ass our head is a 25 foot with a cross auger
8 mph!?!?! holy crap!! we have a cat combine on tracks with a 30ft platform and we go 4-6 mph. How can your grain loss not be way up when going 8 mph? What class is a 9610 in? How fast it the 9120 going in the video?
a 9610 is a john deere it would be a class 8 the throat on it is as wide as a cats it takes it in and as long as it goes in its good as for the bean loss we have a pipe on the head right behind the cutter bar to stop the beans from rolling out I live in NC its always muggy high moisture in the air kinda keeps the bean hulls together until they get into the combine everything has to be just right he was probally goin 8 I dont know its not my video
8mph?? I call bs on that one. I dont thing the head would even be able to cut the stalk going that fast. If i had to guess it looks like they are going about 4-4.5mph in the video
you really have no idea do you every combine will lose grain no matter what no combine can get it all but I have yet to see a combine to hang with and leave less behind it than any combine the only one I have not compared it to is a cat combine even a gleaner will leave more than that its not the combine its the operator if you dont believe it bring your ass to sampson county and hang with the big boys
you might want to compare it to a cat. we have one and it is absolutely OUTSTANDING! we have never had a better machine. power, efficiency, and holy shit are words that come to mind when you see one of those machines. a friend of mine just baught a 9660 JD and they were losing 6-8 bushel an acre. they confronted the local dealer and they said it was an exceptable loss for a JD combine. a week later they had a red one
I have herd the cats are bad ass but im here to tell you my dad worked for a guy here in nc who runs 3 8010 combines there case and they lose 10 times as much as the deeres do the guy I currently work for runs a 9770 with a air head on it he dont lose any off of the head period mabey a bushel goes thru the combine some how or anuther but not much now i herd the gleaners are badass never ran one of them tho
i think 10 times as much is exagerating a little to much. if you really think about it it really comes down to the hybrid you planted and how you have the combine set. I heard the gleaners give you a very clean crop but you dont have the capacity like the cats
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
no there just sorry ass combines theres 2 things case cannot build thats balers and combines deeres got them beat on balers and cats got them beat on combines
whoa there jackass. first of all u dont know shit about combines. u obviously are just some dumbass who has it stuck in his head that he is better than everyone else and what he has is better than everyone else. We had a Case combine before the Cat and we were gonna get another one but Case didnt have the track system when we bought ours so we got the cat. Now since we are getting to be a lot bigger farmers we are thinking about getting a case with tracks too. Learn how to farm idiot
hahaha who said I liked the rotor type combines the baddest combines in the world are cat lexion claas and they are walker tine just like our 9610 btw a case will never be a new holland new holland may own case but they are built at 2 seperate plants under 2 different designs
@nchayfarmer Don't know where yo get your info on the 2 sperate plants and designs but they are the same baler, the combines differ but come from the same plant. Most of the Cat lexion claas combines are a hybrid thrashing system similar to the john deere CTS.
thats impossible we used a 25 foot head on a 9650 sts jd and have 50+ bpa beand and we can only go about 3 mph (we traded for a Gleaner R65 last year - Much better than the jd)
whats impossible we start picking wheat and oats tommarow and gurantee you my bossman will have his 25 foot head draggin the ground so we can bale behind it and promise you he will be haulin ass will come back with the details of how fast it looks to be a good crop how about yours
we dont have any wheat or oats this year because we got done harvesting late last year due to combine problems so we didnt have time 2 plant any winter wheat. Good Luck To you!
damn sorry to hear that we started today because of rain yesterday we were picking 5 mph on 30 to 40 bushels a acre of oats picking 2 inchs off of the ground most of the oat stalks were 2 to 3 feet tall but it aint about the combine it really comes down to the conditions and it was hot as 40 hells here today so the stalks were dry as hell had to speed the cutter bar up to pick as fast we also have a new auger with the prongs on it where it drags it on in I hope to get sum videos up here soon
Hmm.....That don't sound right, we got a 25 ft head on our NH tr 97 and can go 3.5 mph. it just loses power, i drove a 9870 jd last year with a 30 ft head and could go 5.5 to 6 mph
The combine with tracks will go through mud like crazy, and it doesn't leave a deep track like it would just having a mudhog, however this combine has a mud hog as well! Wait till I get the Corn harvest video put up, to see MUD!!!!!!!!!!!!
Don't you have to also worry about soil compaction and displacemenet? Or mainly worry about just getting the corn out of the field? I know most of the guys around here are running very late harvesting bc of the rains.
That looks great but it sure should cut better than what I saw at 2:10. Nice job stitching the video together, I would rather have motor noise over the music, even though the tune you chose was one I liked as well.
Great vid, thats a slick setup you got and it looks like ur really moving! Hows the crop out your way look? Here in northen Il we have alot of empty pods, Averaging around 45 bpa
Awesome the only combines ive seen with tracks are the cats i dont think they would help out much (not to beat down on the fact that it has them) does it ride any different then one with tires?
