  • So he made a joke about Canada. Get over it, Canadians.

Lewis Black is WRONG about Biloxi. There already is a "big f**king thing in Biloxi", and it was built without one cent of "stimulus" dollars. Google: "Biloxi casinos".

  • If you are upset about Lewis' use of language watch his bad language video. You can most likely find it in the column to the right of the screen.

  • wow people are really upset about the Canada thing, I'm From Canada, but I don't mind because Lewis Black is awesome. besides hes burned the us a bit so its no big deal,

    he claims canada is cold,

but the US's Bush is a total moron. both are true. so no one should get upset

  • Not too many comedians can use profanity to make you laugh. He nails it, and everytime I watch I laugh even harder. Especially when he comments on the colors of the emergency defcon.

  • Fellow Canadians: Stop being big fucking babies. I thought it was funny, both because... Lewis Black is fucking hilarious, but somehow it could imply that the hot air comes from the states.

  • @arron112233445566778 you are the even dumber than that other guy I was just bitching at. You think that you have the right to complain that Lewis Black said cold air comes from your country. Guess what, it fuckin does. As for what you said about Americans having stereotype after stereotype about Canadians, guess what. There's a stereotype about every fuckin people in existence, it's called comedy. In some places people are killed or enslaved or some other shit because there from a certain coun

  • @Youtzy1359 Take a chill pill, brother. YouTube comments are pretty much the bargain basement of logic and intellectual thought. Take your thoughts to Reddit or something where they will matter at least a little bit.

The only thing dumber than YouTube comments are venomous diatribes against YouTube comments.

  • @Youtzy1359 Try sayin that to a viking...

  • @mjdgoldeneye. I can't believe that I am actually taking time out of my day to do this, but you are so fucking stupid I feel obligated to. For one thing, the U.S does in fact border the arctic circle, it's called fucking Alaska, for another thing, you clearly don't know that the number two exists because you just went from 1 to 3 I can't believe that you would accuse someone else of being stupid for not using proper grammar when you can't even fucking count!

  • @Youtzy1359 I removed #2 because I ran out of characters and didn't re-edit my message. In fact, #2 was "Alaska doesn't count" which, in that general form, is a joke. However, it's still valid. Alaska is very much like Canada climatically. Clearly Black wasn't talking about Alaska and to have to stop and make an aside specific to it for the sake of political correctness would have ruined the joke.

Good to see you're passionate about something, at least... (Even if it's a YouTube comment...)

  • 8 ppl build big fucking things

  • the quistion for us kainsians isnt are we right, we baltently are, 30 years of thatcher/ragen induced welfare capitalism, ecomnomic system which means ordinary people work longer & longer hours to keep the same wage (whilst a larger & larger % of the of wealth go's to the richest), & the largest economic crash(capitalism imploded goverments saved it from total collaps) since before kaynesian controls were put in place its persuading the elites who would loose, that we need a new model

  • OMG...it's tying into an earlier part of the act....have a sense of humor.

  • ...but Canada has nothing that compares to the climate of Florida, Southern California, the deserts of the American Southwest, Texas, Mississippi to Georgia, or even South Carolina.

Seriously just be happy that you're Canadian (I know I would be) and quit looking so hard for something to cry about.

  • Just goes to show how nice it is being Canadian. The worst thing they have to get mad about, apparently, is the "stereotype" that it is cold there. Yes, how awful for your people, having to live with the debilitating stereotype that where you live is cold.

Also, regardless of how silly it is to be upset about that, it's just a fact. Canada is farther away from the equator than mainland US, so it is colder. And they say the US schools are bad? Toronto may have comparable weather to Chicago...

  • What is with all the angry canadians in this video.... All he said was that's where the cold air comes from..

  • so, let me get this straight; there are a bunch of assholes here that are pissed because lewis black said the cold air comes out of canada? are you fucking kiddin'? canada is the country between the us and the place where it is really really really cold: the arctic. so, he is right when he says; that's where the cold air comes from. the joke would be less funny if he said; we should build a wall, because cold air passes canada...

  • If I was ever the president, I'd be absolutely sure to build a big fuckin thing. That's even what I'd call it too.

"Welcome to the Big Fuckin Thing."

  • Hey mjdgoldeneye you forgot number2 :)

  • @photolitherland

Your mum makes baby "Jebus" cry ;)

  • Its Freakin Comedy and Lewis Black is funny, it doesn't matter who the hell he puts down.... Its suppose to make you laugh. If you don't like it, tough shit! Search for something else

  • LACTOSE INTOLERANT?! KISS MY DICK

  • His speech about the "Big fucking thing" kills me everytime! LOLOL!

  • There is no bad language...

  • Lol I'm Canadian and I think this is fuckin funny xD . Screw the other Canadians complaining xP

  • i love the people discussing meteorology and geography to debate the validity of blacks statements. it was a joke a five year old could understand, get over yourselves assholes

  • At least he pronounced Biloxi correctly.

  • If Canadians all whine like the morons below, fuck the whole damn country :O

    Keep worshiping your internets :)

  • I c... canada isnt getting the respect it deserves? heh. hehe. hahahaha

  • Great piece and so true - not sure about Canada tho.

  • some time ago, $1 pumped by the US government would give $1 of GDP growth. Two years ago $7 would give $1 GDP growth. Today $7 gives GDP decline.

Black is funny, I like him, but he is wrong here

  • @jaceklupl i'm sure wherever they do the public works there are growths... besides, statistics like that are usually bullshit anyhow

  • @ Aaron1122..

Canada is colder then most US states because it's closer to the Norht Pole and further away from the Equater.

  • All of you folks with all of your deep thoughts about stereotyping, welfare , trade deficits, etc, etc - You do realize that Lewis is a comedian, yes? Lighten up, everyone. You'll be healthier.

  • Actually, finding stereotypes funny and believing them are two different things. A solid portion of comedy draws from stereotypes. It wouldn't be funny if he punctuated every line with "but Canada isn't really like that".

Also, Canada is far colder on average that the U.S.. The northern half of the U.S. is comparable to the southern, densely populated parts of Canada, but we've got Florida and you have the Arctic Circle.

And, meteorologically, the cold does come from the north.

  • @mjdgoldeneye damn brains, what did you do, eat your cheerios. For now on you are to eat cocoa puffs and drink lots of tap water, so you can sound like a normal american.

  • @mjdgoldeneye Thank you. I thought it was funny. I agree that the further you get from the equator, the fucking colder it is.

  • @kevingramos 1. Use proper grammar if you don't want to look like an idiot. Just sayin'

    3. I am very well versed in geography. The fact is, the U.S. does not border the Arctic Circle. Also, I'm fairly certain any point in the Arctic Circle is climatically colder than any point in Florida.

    4. Yea, taking elevation into consideration, some points in the U.S. are colder than some points in Canada. That's just common sense. On average, Canada is still far colder than the U.S... It's a fact... Sorry?

  • @mjdgoldeneye Dude, you're awesome.

  • @mjdgoldeneye

    -waiting on point two- o.o

  • @mjdgoldeneye *Reads comment: "I am very well versed in geography. The fact is, the U.S. does not border the Arctic Circle."*

    *Gets globe*

    *Points at Alaska*

  • Where do you live?

  • nova scotia, you probably never heard of it. aha

  • And you still think it's no colder there then most US Staes? Oh well.

  • well obviously its colder than alot of them, im just sayin, the weather here is no different than say massachettes or chicago or something. from what iv heard.

  • @aaron112233445566778 you're not helping the stereotype that all canadians are IDIOTS

  • @aaron112233445566778 bro calm down just laugh at their ignorance its pretty funny if you look at it on the bright side

  • @aaron112233445566778 u forgot to say eh

  • @aaron112233445566778 Some Canadians I was traveling with one time actully told me that they all lived in igloos north of the US border. You guys aren't exactly helping stop the sterotype.

  • @aaron112233445566778

Jeez, man, take it easy. I'm from Mississippi and he rags on my state far more than he does on Canada. And I'm laughing my ass off!

We know that Canada is not in winter all year round and that you don't live in igloos. And that you don't say "eh" every other word. (BTW, LB says none of these things, so I think this is your hang-up not his or most Americans.)

    So chill out, eh?

  • @aaron112233445566778

its not "eh" its "A" you must be french canadian ..they do suck and they do live in igloos and have no hair on their balls wheere it winter all year round and they don't celebrate christmas and they spit in each others face...thats how they say "Hello, how are you today?"

  • @aaron112233445566778 Quick question: uh, how do you get internet in your igloo?

  • @aaron112233445566778

    owned xd

  • @aaron112233445566778 Canadian winters are cold as hell thats to be sure of

  • @aaron112233445566778 Stop making Canadians sound stupid, Harper does that quite well by himself. So as a combined message from Canadians everywhere "Shut the f*ck up"

  • @999zooyork999 agreed aaron a fucktard. regards from waterloo

  • @aaron112233445566778 I'm in the midwest, and I remember last month it was 15 degrees here one day, and 32in Toronto!

  • @aaron112233445566778

Canada is so much colder than USA.

    you really are stupid.

  • @aaron112233445566778 come on eh what you talking aboot? it was a joke

  • but how do u make someone who doesn't want to work, work? i'm not talking about the unemployed who lost their jobs, i'm talking about the ppl who choose not to work. There's a reason why some ppl are welfare leaches and don't work, they're lazy and selfish

  • those type of people are a lot less of a percentage of people on welfare and a lot less of a problem. also its not really the focus of a public works project

  • That is less tham 1% of the unemployed (tecnically if you are not looking for a job you aren't even considered unemployed so it could be 0 as well).

  • you take away welfare and find them a job for them or offer them the street ;o)

  • lol they should build the big fucking thing in New Orleans. Somewhere where they really need it. I support "the giant wall" across the border of Canada!!

  • yea lets just employ all the unemployed to build shit, that's sure is productive...I'm sure that will help fix our trade deficit

  • one could say obama is applying the lewis back economic policy.

  • We have plenty of fu@*in' things here in Phoenix! lol

  • Funny stuff. I'm from Canada, but I don't take it personally.

  • And, lets be fair, the cold air does kinda come from us...

  • Adults aren't frightened of words and the bible happens to make for great comedy.

  • "Stupid"?

From what i have seen, Lewis is far from being stupid. Also, about the language, sure he swears alot. So what? Whats wrong with using words like "fuck" "shit" "asshole" etc?

  • @WaaahWah why should he use those words?

  • @uuttuaate

Because it's fucking hilarious when he rages. And when a grown man rages, he will tend to use those words. He's an adult, doing stand up for other adults. Why SHOULDN'T he use those words?

  • @WaaahWah cause he CAN rage without those words they're just useless. He would still make himself clear without using those words.

  • @uuttuaate I have nothing more to add.

  • @WaaahWah okay have a nice day

  • @uuttuaate Yeah man, you too.

  • Quit your whining.

  • Prom, Waah, Psycho, I commend you for being able to read anything that guy typed. I was going to insult him, but I can't figure out what he's saying.

  • ummmmmm lewis black is a jew

  • Ummmm similes aren't that hard to understand.

  • so what

  • Hahahaha wow you're an asshole.

  • I know!

  • Lewis Black has a Masters Degree in Fine Arts from Yale University.

He's one of the smartest comedians out there today.

  • This was May 2004 so he was 55 in this one. (turning 60 8/30/08). The punchline about the wall with Canada is amazing lol.

  • why dont the politicians just watch a lewis black comedy special. i thnk they would hate to admit for 1nce tht some1 else is right bout the government

  • And maybe, someone would learn to spell?

  • How bout gettin' the dick out yer ass, ya uptight little bastard

  • Lewis Black is genius ~!
