  • PRAY FOR ME TO SEE THE LIGHT AND FIND WISDOM ,,,, BIG EARL GAVIN ,, AMEN

  • i look forward to chillin with you in heaven dog

  • I wish I had him for my pastor, because he is straight out with his answers of what he knows from the bible and he doesn't change or manipulate the word of god in anyway

  • I agree with this video !! God lies or God is truth !! hot or cold ... Nothing but one side and that's that !! You know your saved when you can remember the time it happened !

  • For godly grief and the pain God is permitted to direct, produce a repentance that leads and contributes to salvation and deliverance from evil, and it never brings regret; but worldly grief (the hopeless sorrow that is characteristic of the pagan world) is deadly [breeding and ending in death]. (2 Cor 7:10 Amplified Bible).

Those who believed and are saved as Scripture says (Joh 7:18) will NEVER regret their salvation and apostatize from the faith

  • You gave alot more detail and examples than I think you needed. If you did not do anything to earn salvation how can you lose salvation.

  • this is a tough question. if you are truly his child, God will make u endure till the end. i think if a person departs from Jesus is because their faith was weak and they never were saved, they didnt "deny themselves and picked up their cross daily". they just had an emmotional moment, being extremely afraid of hell and punishment, but when it passes, their false faith goes away. if you are not sure run to Christ: if you are with doubt, he will take it away, if you are not saved, he will save u

  • Yes, you can loose your salvation. In the last days many will stray from the faith.

  • Matt. 24:13. That is speaking of the end times tribulation era... not of justification. If you can lose your salvation, then what do you do with John 10:28 where Jesus says He gives eternal life and the sheep will NEVER perish? If you can lose it then Jesus should have said, "and they may perish..." or "they CAN perish." But he said, THEY WILL NEVER PERISH. So, will they never perish? Or can they?

  • If salvation is not by works of righteousness which we have done, and baptism is a work of "righteousness," then how can water baptism be a part of salvation? (Titus 3:5; Matt. 3:16) In the Bible, we are SAVED BY GRACE, and grace does not involve human effort or merit - grace is grace and work is work! (Just read Ephesians 2:8,9 and Romans 11:6.)

    u cannot be unborn again

  • Why does the "Church of Christ" insist that their name is scriptural when it cannot be found anywhere in the Bible? The church is referred to as the "church of God" eight (8) times in the Bible, but never is it called the "church of Christ." The verse they use is Romans 16:16, but it doesn't say "church of Christ." Where does the Bible call the church the "church of Christ"?

  • . If I committed some sin -whether in thought, word, or deed, one minute before a fatal car crash - would I go to hell if I did not have time to repent of it? And, please, don't just say that it's up to God without giving me a specific Bible reference.

  • After becoming a Christian, are there any sins that will put me beyond the "point of no return" so that I cannot regain salvation? What sin or sins will put me in such jeopardy, so that, after becoming a Christian, I would be doomed to hell without any recourse? Please be specific and give me clear Bible references.

  • no a Born again Christian cannot lose Salvation If as a Christian I can sin so as to "lose my salvation," just what sin or sins will place me in such danger? Is it possible to know at what point one has committed such a sin, and become lost again? Please be specific and give clear Bible references.

  • Ezekial 18 has the answer to this question. Read it for yourself.

  • How does Rev 3:5 fit with eternal security?

  • @Figsx because basically what the verse is saying is that whoever overcome being a slave to sin (becoming saved) will not be blotted out. God has given me a good understanding on this subject and if you have any other questions i would be more than glad to answer them, thro Him.

  • I just read the article regarding your tactics for disciplining children. These kind of tactics are the reason we have such a violent society. If a child suffers the kind of human abuse you advocate they will grow up to do the same to others. You are a threat to the Human species on this planet. Please pass from it as soon as possible.

  • Gee, that's great, because I was saved when my parents baptized me at birth, and before I could speak I lost my faith because I didn't 'get' it. If that's not enough, I didn't understand it up until I realized that only an evil God could punish his children with an eternal fire just because they didn't 'get' it. Whew! Now that I've got that figured out I can live a life free of sin, doubt, and misery because I'm going to Hell anyway! Give me a dose of art, science, philosophy and I'll be happy!

  • @jmlidea Can a judge in court be viewed as evil when they sentence a murder to the death penalty or sentence the person to life in jail? Probably not unless your logic is flawed. God can be viewed the same way. He is just doing what is just.

  • verses-showing-justification-by-faith

this was a link... google it

  • lol... your mislead and whats worse, your misleading other people!

    verses-showing-justification-by-faith

    Ephesians 2:8

all those verses say if we just accept the Holy Spirit were SAVED through Faith alone! im 100% sure im saved in the God i believe in! its sad to see even though you believe in God, you cant be sure if your saved or not.. doesnt that show you something.. Jesus revealed himself to me because i let him in, i suggest you do the same!

  • @JusJuiceIt

I like the words from the mouth of my Savior... Try reading them sometime. John 15:12-14. And no where did i say that we are not 100% saved by grace. We were talking about being saved in our sins (like you are trying to imply) and being faithful.

Were did i say i'm not sure i'm saved? I know i'm saved by grace... but salvation does not come until we stand before him. You have a real hard time with reading comprehension... this is a usual problem with you guys.

  • Plus...if you could lose salvation...would not the same apply to us that applied to adam & eve in the garden. If god is holy and cannot tolerate 1 sin. Would he not have to vacate the believers life after 1 sin? If can tolerate many before he vacates what happen to his holiness? The bible makes it clear that even as believers were still sinners. If we say we have no sin we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us.

  • Yeah! I personally do not believe one can lose their salvation. I agree with the commenter below who stated. If jesus died for past, present and future sins how can one lose their salvation. That's quite a conundrum.

  • Jesus said if we disconnect form him we shall not achieve anything...

  • Lets see the 4 or 500 verses you have proveing you cant.Remember the example in Jude?A whole generation got lost. one third of the angels are LOST and were there already.galations 4;4 christ has become of no effect unto you, whosoever of youare justigied by the law, YE ARE FALLEN FROM GRACE; There you go ,,Now twist that up folks

  • Jesus never tells people that He used to know them, and how can one be unborn again?

  • Christions don't have salvation to lose. It was not theirs to lose.Christ satisfied God in atonement not man we receive the effects.God never becomes unsatisfactory with Christ by man's behavior. Sin is atoned past, present, future. How then can a man have the blood atone become un atoned by sin If that sin is already atoned? This doctrime of losing salvation is based upon the doctrine of free will Never will you meet someone who belives you can lose salvation not believing in free will, never.

  • @polopowers1 and honestly if it were possible to lose your salvation ( if you were truly meant it ) we would all be doomed for hell because none of us are good enough in god's eyes....that's why Jesus came and died so we can live with him.

  • @lastdayministries yep read isaiah 26:3 also God bless you friend.

  • This gentlemen is wrong. He doesn't understand grace and he believes that you have to work for your salvation. Jehovah witness believe in works, Islam believes in work.

  • HERESY

"If a righteous man turns from his righteousness and commits iniquity, in his sin shall he die." - Ezekiel 18:26

IF YOU SIN YOU HAVE TO REPENT

Jesus' blood covers your sinful past if you are truly sorry.

You are no longer a sinner but a saint, unless you sin again.

"He who commits sin is of the devil." - 1 John 3:8

"Without Holiness, no man shall see the Lord." - Hebrews 12:14

  • Many folks who believe they are saved will hear "I never knew you" on the day of judgment.

  • Why all this arguing friends?our faith is supposed to be simple our prime focus should be on The Lord Jesus Christ and His Beautiful Word the Bible if we keep our eyes on the prize and get busy running the race God is able to keep us from falling and present us blameless in the day of salvation

    Peace everyone.

  • @subulion You are so right, but might I point out the key word by your own admission...is IF we keep our eyes on the Lord Jesus Christ

  • This man is truly intelligent. God bless you, Michael Pearl!

  • I WANT EVERYONE ON EARTH to KNOW the TRUTH about the Unforgivable Sin, which is Blasphemy against the Holy Spirit: It's PERFECTLY FALSE.

    I'll PROVE IT.

In John 20:21, 23, our dearly beloved Jesus Christ our savior CLEARLY says this:

If you FORGIVE the sins of ANY, they are FORGIVEN; if you RETAIN the sins of ANY, they are RETAINED.

If all of you religious hypocrites completely deny, LOOK IT UP YOUR SINFUL SELVES.

I hope to the good lord with all my heart that this greatly helps.

    God Bless

  • Well the 1/3rd of the angles were in heaven solid. and they ended up lost. they had the same choice to sin as we do,If your saved? stay saved. Once saved always saved is like telling people just go ahead and sin you will be alright, a back slidder has lost his faith. You need to faith to be saved.A man is lost if he dies in his sin,If he was saved he would not sin in the first place.

  • @sidebarr7 U dont have an idea what u are talking about.Once Saved Always Saved is the doctrine of the Bible. It is correct and it can be proven in a number of scriptures, while belief of losing salvation comes from wrong interpretation of some parts of the scripture.

  • @MrUrosSrb I sincerely would like to know what verses those are, because it has always been my understanding that if you do not daily pick up your cross, you can lose your salvation. Could it not be said that the eldest son in the parable of the prodigal son represents a Christian who has accepted Christ, but has since allowed his heart to move away from God, and thus lost his salvation?

  • @PlayBAM1993 hmm ok lets see."For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, SHALL BE ABLE TO SEPARATE US from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord." Romans 8:38 .

. .for he hath said, I WILL NEVER LEAVE THEE, nor forsake thee." Hebrews 13:5 I am with you ALWAYS, even unto the end of the world. Amen." Matthew 28:20

  • @PlayBAM1993 And THE LORD. . . WILL PRESERVE ME unto his heavenly kingdom:. . ." 2 Timothy 4:18

God keeps us we dont keep ourselves by works.

Sinning is always wrong and we shoud try to avoid it,but it cannot make us lose salvation, only a temporary fellowship with God.after that ye believed, YE WERE SEALED with that holy Spirit of promise," Ephesians 1:13 .Eternal security is the way to go definately.

  • @MrUrosSrb

Praise Jesus.. thanks for the verse bro, here's one in return:

    Romans 11:29

“For the gifts and the calling of God are IRREVOCABLE.”

definition for irrevocable: cannot be changed, undone, altered or removed!.. salvation is a gift from God, when we receive it, it's officially irrevocable!.. the ephesians verse is another great one, i have about 20 verses in my holster ready to go for anyone who says we can lose salvation lol.. its a shame Christians believe that!

  • @JusJuiceIt I totally agree with you.If u didnt earn it,u cant lose it.

  • @MrUrosSrb

    Praise God!

  • @JusJuiceIt

I think it is prideful to feel you are saved and nothing you can do will change that. I tend to live along the line of working out your salvation with fear and trembling. You are saved when you stand before God and are judged out of the Book. If we are saved in this life why would we need to be judged?

  • @Sk8er408

i disagree with everything you've said.. after reading my response to your comment, please do whatever you can to find out if what im saying has truth to it!

"I think it is prideful to feel you are saved and nothing you can do will change that."

really?.. so your telling me its pride that makes me fully confident i will never lose my salvation because God Himself is literally holding my hand like the child and children we all are.. or how about the seal of the Holy Spirit that He

  • @JusJuiceIt pride that makes me fully confident i will never lose my salvation

Yes... As the bible teaches to work out your salvation with fear and trembling... as in being humble about it not prideful... Again... read John 15:12-14... Jesus says only those that do everything he commands are those that he died for...

  • @Sk8er408

are you seroiusly suggesting we as Christians who have accepted Jesus Christ are not saved till the day of judgement??.. i cant have this converstaion anymore my friend, please read your Bible!

  • @JusJuiceIt

Read John 15:12-14.> It is Jesus that says it... not me... so go ahead and deny his works and act like all you need is John 3:16 with your made up context of what it means. Jesus did not destroy the Law... it is still 100% in affect.

  • @JusJuiceIt

You the one that calims to be a follower so pridefully and refuse to listen to others opinion... it is that person that Jesus will say I do not know you.

  • @Sk8er408

stamps on my Spirit when i accept Jesus Christ and repented!.. (2 Corinthians 1:20-22) look it up my friend, we meaning the Saints, the Born agains, the Saved, are literally Sealed by God with the Holy Spirit.. so wait a minute, lets go back to what you said, is that pride?? is it pride that makes me sit here knowing full well i will never lose my salvation because God Himself has told me through His word that He's sealed my life with the Holy Spirit.. No, its not pride..

  • @Sk8er408

at least not the 'pride' of this world.. if ANYTHING, yes i am prideful, im prideful knowing full well God wont ever let go of me! even when i make wrong choices.. i believe a born again can stumble but in the end they always come back to Christ, showing that they were actually Saved to begin with.. those who dont come back never new God!.. thats what the Bible says, dont take my word for it!

  • @Sk8er408

"I tend to live along the line of working out your salvation with fear and trembling."

im sorry you think that man, but thats not what God wants you to be like at ALL.. please look up these verses im giving you, this is NOT my opinion, im giving you nothing but Bible verses, i really hope you read these bro!

Romans 8:35-39, John 10:27-29, 1 Corinthians 1:8 (in this verse it says "He will keep you strong till the end, so that you may be blameless on the day of our Lord Jesus Christ"

  • @Sk8er408

so why on earth would God want you to fear and tremble because you dont want to lose salvation when your already blameless after receiving the Holy Spirit.. God's telling you in that verse all you have to do is read it, He's telling you "I will keep you strong till the end, and on the day of judgement YOU WILL be blameless").. 1 Peter 1:3-5, Psalm 27:28, Psalm 23:6, Ephesians 1:13, 1 Corinthians 5:1-5, this last verse i just put talks of a man who was living in sin so much that he

  • @Sk8er408

slept with his fathers wife, but please read that verse its just amazing!.. at the end of the verse it says, even tho this man did all this stuff, he SPIRIT was sent directly to Heaven after he died.. why?? because he was saved! two of my personal favourite verses are these right here..

    Romans 8:35-39:

“Who will separate us from the love of Christ? Will hardship, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? 36 As it is written, "For your sake

  • @Sk8er408

we are being killed all day long; we are accounted as sheep to be slaughtered." 37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. 38 For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor rulers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, 39 nor height, nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

lol it cant get any more clear than that man.. this verse

  • @Sk8er408

is literally saying.. NOTHING, nothing in all creation can make you lose salvation, and YET PEOPLE still say, yea but we can walk away from salvation even after we accept it.. lol but you cant though, your creation, you are one of Gods creation, and even you cant make yourself lose salvation!.. this verse is saying that, NOT ME!

and this is my top favourite

    Romans 11:29

“For the gifts and the calling of God are IRREVOCABLE.”

look up the definition for irrevocable, english and

  • @Sk8er408

greek.. it literally means.. cannot be changed, undone, altered OR removed!... i dont no how much easier it is to see God is telling us, we can NOT lose salvation if we truly have it in the first place!..

"You are saved when you stand before God and are judged out of the Book. If we are saved in this life why would we need to be judged?"

so wait a minute, your telling me no one on earth right now is saved.. ?? and your a christian??.. i really hope you go and talk to someone

  • @Sk8er408

of authority in your church about this man!.. Jesus told us that once we accept the Holy Spirit we will be fully confident were saved!.. not only that but His death on a cross was the seal to that confidence!.. i am a born again Christian, i no that im saved.. and i will not be judged before God the same way sinners will be!

    i hope this helped.

  • @JusJuiceIt

You deny the Spirit by sinning... So you have not accepted the Spirit until you stop sinning.... His death did pay the price for sin... but what did Christ say about his sacrifice? I suggest you read John 15:12-14

So you have pride in yourself is that it? Are you saved in your sin? Or are you looking to Christ to save you? All will stand before God as all are sinners... even you BAC...

  • @PlayBAM1993 But as Christians we should not want to sin, thats another thing and sinning is very wrong still. We may lose rewards but salvation never.

  • @MrUrosSrb Thank you for the help. That certainly clears a lot up. And, that takes off a lot of unnecessary weight that we often carry around. God bless.

  • Notice its not YOUR Flesh that paid the price? in the verse Col 1:22

  • Colossians 1:22 In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight:

  • i feel empty, i wish i could take it all back but i cant, i hope that the people that read this comment and are struggling with sin will read this and turn away, and run to christ while they can, truth be told nothing, nothing is better than christ, i would give anything to have his love back again. but its too late for me.

  • @tfkweapon321 1 John 1:8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. 1 John 2:1 My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous

read 1 john over and over again. it is to believers. not sinning is proof of salvation to others and love to our Father. My Son who IS my Son when he disobeys I dicipline and we move on but he will always be my Son. :)

  • @tfkweapon321

It's never too late. The son decided to go home to his Father, and while he was heading home and trying to think of what to say, his Father came running towards him and kissed him. Put rings on his hand, shoes on his feet. Clothed him in the finest robe and killed the the fatted calf. "My son was dead, and he's alive again. He was lost, and now he's found." Jesus says "Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest." Jesus is there, He loves you!

  • @tfkweapon321 Don't listen to other people weapon321 just go read the King James Bible for yourself, Paul wrote 13 books to you, those books start with his name (Paul).

the other books aren't even written to you. But they are in the bible for you. So that you can understand how Paul came about and why, and for who¹.

    ¹ That would be you.

  • @tfkweapon321 i know how you feel man, i turned away from god for prescription drugs, and when i returned the door was closed, i tried everything to get my salvation back, i cried out in prayer day and night, i went to church everyday, i read the bible non stop, but nothing happened, i ended up in the hospital because i was so devistated. i no longer feel Gods love, and he doesnt even answer my prayers any more, why? because when u turn away from God it can produce death. the death of faith.

  • @trigger575707 i do feel like god will forgive me, but he requires a life of righteous living he is tired of my sinful ways and wont listen to me until i fully repent. i am happy to say that after about 6 months of being tormented after praying constantly and forcing myself to read the bible the lord has show me mercy.because of jesus christ and his sacrifice for me on the cross i have been able to completely quick fornication all together, and i am tempted again.

  • @trigger575707 i would say if u turn from your sin even u can be saved, god reminded me how much he loved me and that he would never let me go. if u repent in all areas of your life and surrender to jesus and realize who jesus is and fear the lord with reverence, and know jesus has the power to cast u into hell jesus and god the father will listen to u again. no matter how far u go from jesus he still wants to save u.

  • @trigger575707 pray for these things daily and ask god to help u mean them. but before u pray these things start your prayer by thanking him for the things he has done for u, even if they are very small things that happened within the day. pray this please lord jesus if u are willing help me love u more and love other people more, and if u are willing lord help me be a humble man, also if u are willing give me a heart of repentance, and clean out all the evil thoughts from my mind

  • @trigger575707 pray to the jesus also that u will not be ashamed of him, and ask god to help u mean these things. pray everyday, and read your bible once a day after praying that prayer to the lord on your knees. i know that jesus will forgive u, because u are precious to him. u just have to know and realize that god is to be feared and know your place as a servant and fear him. i know that jesus wants me to help people like u.

  • @trigger575707 im telling u now though that this process is going to be a torment for u. because the word of god is going to be pointing out your errors to correct u.u are going to feel the word of god is condemning u for a very long time but keep reading and ask god for his pity and not to turn his face from u even though u are not worthy.pray to the lord also that if he is willing to let u have your emotions back.

  • @trigger575707 i will be praying for u everyday. so keep reading your bible even if u dont want to. as i said the lord wants me to help people that have gone this far from him. it is only to late for u if u stop trying, but now u will try again to draw near to him. this msg is for all those that feel they have gone too far, keep trying and dont give up.

  • unfortunately, i would say it is possible to loose your salvation, i would know sigh, when i first accepted christ i was addicted to pornography, for years after accepting christ i would struggle with my addiction, i hit a hard part in my life and i was just so tired of struggling with my sin so i gave in to my sin. i used to always feel gods love in the past when i would repent. ive tryed to come back to god now, but i dont feel anything from him anymore, no matter how much i cry out to him.

  • @tfkweapon321 weapon321 guess what else, your sins are not the issue anymore. haven't you heard of the Gospel of Christ? that is he DIED for your sins(All of them)and he was buried(as proof), and he was raised from the dead by the Father(for your justification).

Salvation is not based on HOW YOU FEEL... its based on facts, the Gospel of Christ above.

its Found in your bible at "1st Corinthians 15 1-4"

  • What an utter load of HOO CHA CHA! There are literally THOUSANDS of texts that prove you can lose your salvation. Only a tiny handful of verses seem to support the "Once Saved Always Saved" doctrine.

  • What about the scripture that refers to a person's name being removed from the book of life?

  • @ericjaynelson The book of life belongs to Christ. Your a part of his Body, you died with him on the cross if you believe the gospel of Christ that was commited to the apostle Paul for OUR Salvation - Not National Israels Salvation, you know if National Israel would have accepted thier king then Paul never would have been called or saved.

  • #2 Ministry = Paul and there is no work to be done, just believe on the Lord.

Romans 4:5 But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.

1 Corinthians 12:27 Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular.

this ministry, YE ARE... Christ already endured for you, and you are complete in him.

Colossians 1:22 In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight:

  • There is no such things as ONCE SAVED ALWAYS SAVED, your either saved, or your not. People that partake in such debates are ignorant of the two seperate ministries that took place in the 1st Century...

#1 Jesus - Minister of the Circumcision (including the 12 disciples) less Judas...

#2 Paul aka. Saul - Minister of the Uncircumcision.

In #1 - Matthew 10:22 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.

notice the words there SHALL BE

  • Not at all what I was expecting. It isn't purely one way or the other. Kind of a highly unlikely that you could lose your salvation but there is a possiblity that you could.

  • @Kerrigan Skelly this guy is not supporting Once Saved always saved.. perhaps you should watch it again???

  • Gee, what a punishment that is for a "sinning Christian"...he gets to go to Heaven! So, just sin as much as you can and you will get to Heaven faster!

  • Comment removed

  • I detect sarcasm. Do you not believe in grace by faith? And why the need for parenthesis surrounding Christian? Can you size up what someone believes in their heart by their actions? If someone believes that someone is saved. Period. No need for an exam, administered by you or any other human. But if you're really that good in determining motives of the heart, I'd get to Vegas and find a poker game.

  • this is a clear case of failure to rightly divide. Hebrews is not doctrinally for the church age. I"f we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself." 2 Tim. 2:13 - the Holy Spirit, through Paul the spokesman of the church age has stated this clearly so you would not be misled. If what you say is true, a person having doubts has lost their salvation - and that is everyone. Everyone has had moments of unbelief or doubt.
