Patrick Gudauskas - How to put on a surfboard traction pad

i placed mine between the two and the back fin but i think its a little far up is that going to mess anything up?

i guaged putting on my pad wrong, and ended up putting it a little too far up, more over the side fins than the middle (i have a thruster)

i imagine the only effect its gonna have is make the board a little less responsive.

what im asking is, is it going to effect the performance a whole lot or not too much to worry about?

@Hippiesfest69 i've done the same thing before, it's not too much to worry about. It will make your board less responsive but it's not something to really worry about if you're a more front footed surfer. I personally didn't like it so i redid mine. Give it a couple of surfs and if you can't get power through your turns then take it off.

not necesserally because when you fall off the board it'll just rib off the ridge on the traction pad so yeah :b
