The tuning is pretty easy! its just D - A - D - G - B - E  (tune your low e to your d and leave everything else)

I must say that as a music performance major, you have done a pretty good job in changing the song to fit the classical guitar, the one thing that I would suggest in your playing though, is to keep the rubato in your playing, but don't have it feel as though its stutter stepping, there were a couple of points in the song where It lost the flow due to the feeling of skipped beats. Otherwise I really enjoyed it. Keep it up!

I don't know, with guitar a bit of rubato makes the piece sound more like it is imitating the cello. Guitarists can't imitate those legato bow techniques that cellists can use, so the way the guitarist has played this has made the piece seem quite accurate. In my opinion anyway.

the timing of this piece is slightly off compared to the brilliance ofthe original...However, i understand this is how you care to interpret this piece.

i simply prefer it to be played as it was written in the correct time signature.

as much i can enjoy the beautiful tone and expression employed here i do have several issues witht the interpretation. i don't agree with relaxed and flexible tempo,would much prefer more drive,slightly more speed and a consistent even pulse. it is essential to follow Bach's markings in the score interms of bass voice articulation, in other words, observing the rests and cutting off the bass notes to define and articulate them.

Hey Marco this is great! Paul Tortelier (cello) once told that he sees this piece as what starts out as a small creak in the mountains on its way through the landscape grows into a formidable river before it throws itself into the ocean. You made me think of that again
