Alexander is the Super Heavy Gold Medalist and has fought quality guys in has latter bouts: go check out BoxRec if you don't believe me. The Klitschkos are living lengends and underrated by the Western media IMO, but that doesn't mean that Povetkin is a nobody; just not the arrogant and mouthy American that the media likes to sponge-up and promote [Tyson *cough* ... Personally, I would love to see Povetkin whip Haye before chasing either Wlad or Vitali. Good for Povetkin, he deserves it. Too bad it's a Regular Title and no one will consider him a real champion with Wlad as the WBA Super World Champion. I believe the IBF, WBO and IBO are the true big three as they have nowhere near the confusion as the WBA and the WBC have going on. After all, Wlad was a triple crown champion and Ring World Champ with their title before taking the WBA Title.

@sfdpg Agree, I think IBF is the fairest among the sanctioning bodies with its one belt policy. It also enforces rematches after controversial fights e.g. agbeko vs mares. The worst organisation is WBA. It puts 3-4 belts in each division just to collect more sanctioning fee, which is disgusting. The WBC is just as bad with its balant favourism towards certain fighters ala Chavez Jr and Canelo. But at least there is only one WBC belt for each weight.

The regular WBA championship is no more than an interim title which basically guarantees him a shot a Wladimir... These championship organizations piss me off with these interim and regular world titles...They started this shit back in 2001 when B-Hopkins stopped Tito Trinidad to become the undisputed middleweight champion....Povetkin, WBA world champion??? He's a very skillful fighter but everyone know's that the Brothers Klitschko are the real HW champions of the world at this time!
