  • Ha! I haven't heard this song in years, I used to watch my Annie tape over and over again as a kid, I LOVED this movie. For some reason I woke up today with this song in my head and I decided to look it up, I think this is the first time I realized he said in Sing Sing, I couldn't understand it when I was a kid (wouldn't even have known what Sing Sing was) I always heard "sing sing sing"! Ha!

  • If I could pick a character to be from this musical it would be her. She has such a funny character!

  • I dont know what it is about this song that reminds me of You are Woman I am Man from Funny Girl...

  • I just figured out she says, "Great gams." I thought it was "yams" and was like, "The hell, Hannigan?"

  • I remember listening to this song NON-STOP on a drive from Michigan to South Dakota once..."This file..from...my....pri...vate...EYE!" "Ay-yay-yaye."

  • I'll call you Ollie my hot tamallie?

here you're dancing in your Scanties! (Great dance...)

  • Aww... I just love Carol Burnett's voice when she says "WATERLOO" lol

  • "Wouldn't you like to see the bedroom, my little billiard ball?" XD

  • ill call you ollie my hot tamale..

  • IS THAT THING REAL?!?!

  • She does have great gams

  • I can't believe Warbucks rejected her so easily. I've would caved somewhere between "My little Bilard ball," and when she starts to dance. I'm all your miss hannigan.

  • I love this scene.

  • "My GOD, is that thing REAL?!"

    Mom: What ARE you watching?!

  • she used to creep me out when i was younger but she's actually hilarious

  • @kkana90 Same i use 2 be so terrified of her, now when i see her in it i'm like dying of laughter! Kinda wierd

  • Ollie? hahaha

  • OH CAROL BURNETT <3, need i say more? :)

  • BEST. DUET. EVER. EPIC WIN

  • Poor Mr. Warbucks!

  • I OVE THIS SONG THEY R GREAT TOGETHER ,THIS WAY LETS MAKE HAY LOL

  • One of the best written musical numbers EVER!

  • This is Carol Burnett at her finest. Her facial expressions are hysterical, and her intonations always get me giggling. They really worked well together in this scene.

  • wish this was in the musical!!!!

  • I love this song, its so bad for an p g movie

  • I love this scene SO MUCH.... just perfect.

Even at 10 years old, I knew every word and intonation by heart - and still do. Though I think I get a little more of the meaning now!!

  • gotta love that expression on her face when she says JAIL?!?!?

  • At 2:12, He said, "Sit Out!" hahahahahahaha! lolol!

  • Bonus eye-reez :D

  • "you wanna smoochiee my little poochiee" lmao

  • This scene is more erotic than funny.

  • @LenaDelovely I wonder if Huston had them do on purpose. What other musicals do you know where the every female singer in it flashes their underwear with high kicks?

  • @LenaDelovely I know wtf but this movie rocks so i really don't care.

  • Carol Burnett is the one, the ONLY... Miss Hannigan!

  • I'm about to be ms. hannigan in a modern version of this movie-we'll put it on youtube-hilars!

  • "and here ur dancing in ur scanties with some old geezer called Little Cesar!" "an uncle!" O_O well...uhhh thats not sketchy or anything xD

  • @whateveritsjenna "Great gams!"

  • lol running fingers through his hair? good luck with that XD

  • @SonicXFanRaegan I think she means hair somewhere else.

  • i LOVE Carol Burnett. she's awesome.

  • Buenos Aires = bonus ay-rees...LMAO!!!

  • "I guess I'll never know the feeling of running fingers through your hair" at around 2:25 always gets me! :D Carol Burnett is just plain awesome.

  • "I have an appointment at 1..."

  • favorite song in this movie. when I was young I never realized she was a drunk... I thought she just liked to drink bathwater, and had random bottles of water lying around... and was very eccentric.

  • @RABGVSU - I like your version better. xD

  • @RABGVSU Thats what I thought too :)

  • I always wondered why she drank the bathwater.. lol

  • Obviously Carol Burnett and Albert Finney are both wonderful in this scene, but the bit that really gets me laughing is when Miss Hannigan goes:

    "You had me followed??"

  • i love mr warbucks :)

  • IN SINGSING ???

  • 2:17 "you wanna smoochie my little poochie" 2:23:jAIL

  • 0:20 GOD! IS THAT THING REAL?!

when i was little i thaught she was talking about his chest now i realize shes talking about the diamond on his suit xD

  • 0:20 hah hah but what is she talking about the dimond button or-never mind a kid could be reading this...but this song isint exactly kid friendly..

  • "For a Republican, you are SINNNNFULLLY handsome!" LOL love that line!

  • 10 people got locked in the closet

  • "You had me followed?" lol

  • I want a bathtub full of gin. XD

  • @vampires18 I used to wonder where she bathed. lol

  • "You lock the orphans in the closet." "They love it."

    Strange defense. o_O

  • @SheFoxAnya its a hilarious defense :)

  • @SheFoxAnya I have always loved that line :)

  • "I guess I wont know the feeling of running my fingers through your hair"

    HAHA He doesnt have any!!

  • SIGN!

  • If anyone knows the chords to this song, could they please tell me them? Thank you!

  • hahahahah fingures threw his hair!

  • I love the way she says "Drink?"

    XD

  • "would you like to the bedroom , my little billard ball" hahaha i love her!

  • @brittanybunny5 I would love to take the grand tour of her bedroom! Looks like quite a little rompus area!

  • "its you I crave now, lets misbehave now" haha brilliant

  • Carol Burnett never ceases to amaze me! Why have I waited so long to see this movie? This is hilarious!!! =D

  • "For a Republican you're SINFULLY handsome..." Good stuff! :)

  • miss hannigan you are dom

  • HAHAHA

You wanna smoochie my little poochie :)

    couldnt stop laughing!!!

  • lmfao "buy me a ruby" NO!!!! he says lol

  • 2:48. Wouldn't the gin taste bad (like ass) if she sat in it?

  • @Sulla2300 I wouldn't mind taking a sip!

  • Lets me and you fill up our diaries. ;)))))))))

  • Can anybody tell what all she drinks in this movie?

  • @12burtonboy bathtub gin

  • All that seduction for nothing. Bummer.

  • @incrediblehulkmovies Perhaps if she wasn't so obvious about it. I will admitt though, that's so funny.

  • I get drunk and put on jewelry and glitzy things my friend says I remind her of Miss Hannigan

  • I love Carol Burnett

  • I LOVE this movie!! I am trying out for Miss Hannigan in my school play! She's Hysterical!! "You ever been to Buonas Ayres, a hunger for the Argentine?" "Argentina"

  • "My GOD, is that thing REAL?!"

  • She slammed it so the girls would get away from the window :)

  • Why did Hannigan slam down that statue?

  • You just know Carol is having a ball with her part! which to me makes a movie more enjoyable to watch

  • "I guess I'll never know the feeling of running fingers through your hair" WHAT HAIR??

  • I love it when he says "You make them grovel, why you buy loveliers" (or w/e he said lol)

  • @dizzydolphin What are loveliers?

  • @dizzydolphin

lavaliers - it's just a kind of necklace

  • @dizzydolphin I always thought he said "You make them grovel, while you buy lovelies!" or lovelys...however it's spelled

  • Was she just playing with him to keep him from making her sign or was she really wanting him?

  • One of my favorite parts of this song is "Buy me a ruby! Why shouldn't you be mine?" It's a really beautiful line, and in the middle of this hilarious song it's such an interesting accent.

  • I can't believe she called him billard ball. lol.

  • I love their performance! My fave: 2:10-2:55

Behind the towel..."I guess this means no Bonus Aires." (lmao)

"SIGN!" "Oh, why didn't you say so in the first place" heehee

  • "Let's you and me make, why shouldn't we make hey?" I don't get that lyric.

  • @incrediblehulkmovies I believed she was talking about making the most of the time she and Oliver had together, and given the way Miss Hannigan was acting...

If I remember correctly, the phrase "make hay" means to take advantage of all the time you have for a certain activity.

  • 1:58 , Drink?

    lol "aiy yio yio"

    "you had me folllowed?

    "they love it"

"my bread and waterlooooooooo" is the best note hit ever!!!!

  • LOVE THIS SONG!

  • My GOD is that thing really?!?!? Hilarious!!

  • i love Albert Finney, he also is now in glee!

  • I adored this film. I was the age of Annie...and had always loved Carol Burnett. It was magical. I love you Carol!! (Albert Finney was *perfect in this role, by the way)

  • Hair!? What hair?

  • @LilleyLuna - Hahaha can't you just "taste" the sincerity of her song? xD

  • @YourDarkAccomplice I don't really understand your question.

  • @LilleyLuna - Oh, it was a rhetorical question. Meaning, she was being so cheap that you can tell she wasn't being sincere when she said (in my favorite part) "I guess I'll never know the feeling... of running fingers through your hair.. etc, etc"

    That was all. :)

  • @YourDarkAccomplice Ok. Thanks for explaining. =)

  • Did we really need a close up of Hannigan's crotch?

  • @incrediblehulkmovies Ha i always loved that part

  • you lock the orphans up in the closet.. They love it LOL!

  • lol! o love mr. Warbucks

  • My GOD is that thing real!?

Don't be so mean, ya big ol' meanie

You lock the orphans in the closet (They love it)

You wanna smoochie, my little coochie

    You'll rot in jail!

I guess I'll never know the feeling of running fingers through your hair.

  • just sign, the dotted line!!!!

  • I've seen this movie so many times in my childhood, to this day whenever I see Albert Finney, I'm convinced he's wearing a wig. Lol.

  • absolutely mesmerizing!!!

  • Albert Finney melts my heart.

  • Must you upset me, why don't you pet me! Haha, this is my favorie song in this song. She's the best Ms. Hannigan!

  • There's a weird double tracking effect on the audio in certain places, anyone else noticed this?

  • @chriswyatt Yeah, it happens a lot in older films. Never noticed before?

  • Don't be so mean, you mean o'l meany

  • i remember when i was little i used to pretend that i was annie and dorothy (wizard of oz) and i would get mad if you wouldn't call me either of those names :D and i used to say every line from this movie!!!!!

  • My GOD is that thing real?!

  • @TheNightlyDayCrew hahaha! i loved that part!!

  • Albert Finney and Carol Burnett make this movie...

  • haha " i guess i'll never know the feeling...of running fingers through ur hair"....LMAO wait for it to grow ms. hanigan....HAHA

  • Watched this yesterday. . .1st time in 20 years with a lump in my throat. To hell with the critcs. Every performance in this is absolutely spot on. Aileen Quinn (who unbelievably won the Razzie that year for this performance), impish and adorable, Carol Burnett is genius!!! Just about every song gave me a tear! I'm now 31, I used to watch this daily with my sis. We'll never know that innocence ever again. Wish we coulda been 5 forever Jen!!! :( Love you

  • Freakin A I love Carol Burnett.

"I guess this means no Buenos Aries."

  • @thirtythreeflavors Carol is ABSOLUTELY fabulous in this movie.

  • @thirtythreeflavors I LOVED THAT LINE. How she delivered it was PERFECT.

  • Wouldn't you like to see the bedroom my little billiard ball?

I don't think I know any guy would like to be called a billiard ball, lol

  • LOL I love watching this back as an adult and remember how slow I was as a child.

I can't believe how these suggestive lyrics went over my head. And I used to think Hannigan was slow because she liked to drink her soapy tub water xD

  • @lg135 You weren't slow. Most kids who saw didn't really understand what was going on in that scene- myself included.
