There appears to be some confusion regarding Shyam and Shyam Kumar who both appear in this movie. Shyam is the hero of this film who appears in this clip with Suraiya. Shyam Kumar (wrongly credited as Sham Kumar) is doing playback for Shyam, the hero. That is simply, Shyam and Suraiya appear in the clip while Shyam Kumar and Suraiya are playback singers.

The first song is simple yet sweet " to the last drop." The bansuri makes it sweeter still. It is as if Shyam has become Lord Krishna and Suraiyya has become Radha.
