My personal advice: NEVER EVER EVER insult ANYONE in games such as Oblivion, FO3, FO:NV, Skyrim or other of the same tipe! Even if you are an evil son of a bitch who wants to watch the entire world burn, don't act like an asshole because people who might be useful will hate you and you will lose very useful benefits.
Also, going through DLC content for the brotherhood, at the end you ill be able to do 2 tasts for 2 different people.
1. Tristian - Super mutant blood samples are great cash and fun to do.
2. Scribe Rothchild - After Liberty Prime's fate and after you finish the Encalve you will be able to gather things in hope to restore Liberty Prime. 1. Camera's
2. Sensor Modules.

I sold any Missles or Mini Nukes I found ingame, as well as Frag Grenades, Frag Mines, Plasma nades and mines, etc, all for easy caps because I didnt use those weapons.
I think the easiest way to play is to go evil. On my current save, I am level 29 with around ten thousand caps. I have THOUSANDS of rounds of ammo for every weapon BUT .44 ammo because of it's rarity. I have 900+ rounds of .44 ammo. I am now the only resident of Tenpenny tower, and...anywhere else in the Wasteland. The only people alive are in Rivet City because the security re-spawns. I blew up Megaton, when it was EMPTY. I killed everyone and looted the place first.

What about Lawbringer & Contract Killer? 5 or 10 caps for fingers, 15 caps for ears. Lawbringer is perfect because of Raiders and Talon Company, etc. And Contract Killer is good for Regulaturs, etc. Those two perks should be considered.

one thing to mension is that there are 2 perks that add 1 item each to the game
the contract killer (evil) and the lawbringer (good), im going to refer the rewards by its order good/evil
these alow you to loot fingers/ears from bad/good people and sell it for 10 caps and good/bad karma to the person they mark on the map when you take the perk
lawbringer (good) is easier to get since talon mercs and raiders are easy to spot, also with point lookout 80% of the people are evil :D
you should sell all your chems except for two of each chem except rad-x and radaway you should keep at least 5 of them because you will need them and yes rad-x and radaway are chems
Sweet intro. and another way to get caps fast is after you do the reily's rangers quest, talk to reily about helping her with mapping the wasteland and she will give you a geomapper module and she will pay you 30 caps for each location you have dicscovered and you can come back any time and she will keep giving you caps for any newly dicovered locations.
hey you talked about chems. you should make a vid with the lab in your megaton house and all you need to do is make a chem wait 24hrs and take it then save them up and when you have alot you can sell them.
Easier way: Go to paradise falls... receive the mesmetron.. go to a place and and shoot it at a settler or anybody who isn't important or isn't a guard... take all their possesions, then enslave em.... you get 250 caps per each slave and the loot you receive depends on who you target...
@sixarmedtiger if you run short on ammo, buy 10 cells for 200 caps, then repeat the processs of enslaving 10 people, and go back to buy more ammo... you earn 800 caps from investing a simple 200 caps each time
You might want to keep the Mec-X if you plan on getting the Prototype Medi Power Armor and you can also sell Wine, Whiskey, Scotch, and Vodka for a decent amount of money.
another great way to make money is a one time thing but, if you help Reiley with finding all of the locations on the map, you get really good caps per place found I believe ;]
my own money making guide for lvl 10-lvl 15 is to sell laser rifels. empty your inventory and search for eanchlaves take ther weps and sell them for 200-300 caps each so about 4 guns is 1000 caps

You could also trade ammo. Obviously it doesn't weigh anything and if it's for a gun you never use (5mm for Miniguns, missles for Missle Launchers, or whatever) then why not?

Yea good vids u can also get alot of caps of weapons and armor u dont mind using .32 pistol Chinese pistol, baseball bat etc. and most raider armor and obvisoly power armors just as long u have Repair skill high and save them
Sometimes liquor can yield you good money if you can support the weight. I also sell weapons and ammo I don't use(Energy Weapons and respective ammo). If you go to Minefield and do your best to disarm all the mines, those mines can make you good money(probably the best start in the beginning).

The turn over with Walter is higher, the cash you make per piece with him will let you buy more red-x, radaway, or simpacks. Those things aren't in short supply if you talk to doctors, so trading with Winthrop isn't as good of an idea.

@legonazizombiefan im not sure how he got so much ammo but ik the way i did is later in the game when you have done alot of quests you will have alot more caps and you can kill enemys alot faster so you have more ammo and more caps to spend it on. On my lvl 30 i have 10k in caps using this guide :3 and for my assault rife i have over 6000 shots and with my sniper i have 1500

i found it very easy... get a bunch of weapons, loot a lot then go to the shops to sell the loot. feeling bored? kill every fucking guy in megaton for a extra 2000 caps :)
You should add that if you have Broken Steel there is a ghoul outside of Underworld that sells a product. If you expose his con you can tell him to pay and you won't tell people the secret. You get more money if you pass a speech check, and if you fail the first one you get another try. All you have to do is visit him every once in a while and he will give you caps.
These guides are great, they've really helped me playing fallout 3, and just by watching some they make me want to buy oblivion. Good Job. Keep it up. :D

That isn't the issue, it's the fact that the guide is an excuse for people to watch my video work in the intos. I make the intro, and then I make the guide, because people won't watch it otherwise. With how I work this hobby the into is the meat, and the guide is the fluff. At least that's how I view it when making the content.
For that reason complaining about the intro(s) at all IS complaining about my reason for doing the video(s) to start with.

@Linkthe1st Great job on the guides man. I was going to mention that once you leave the vault you could go to springvale, kill silver (the woman moriority wants money from, in exchange for your dad's whereabouts) and gain 100 caps right out of the vault and any other useful junk she has laying around.
Good video, even being level 30 and beating i game i didn't know about some of the things like the sugar bombs. Too bad i have a huge stack of caps already from just plain beating the game and exploring everything.
The hollow tags have a problem tho. During the main quest line once they activate the liberty prime almost no one will talk to you they will only say a phrase when you click on them im not sure if they do talk to you again when you start the broken steel dlc.
Good tips Linkthe1st i found them helpful, i repair and sell things and i also do the buy and sell glitch so i cant get around 500 more caps then i had before and get everything i need
what I did for easy money is finish the power of the atom (i did not blow up megaton) stay in my house and every 7 game days get 5 bottles of purified water and sell them.
@Silenthunter287 These are good, but im sure it was intentional that he didn't mention them. Nearly all of them require you to have specific perks or karma in order to use them, or they can't be used until late in the game, when money isn't that much of a problem...
@Silenthunter287 and getting sugar bombs for Murphy, great one for beginners, 15 caps per box or 30 if you pass a speech check, he's in Northwest Seneca Station, very close (North) to Arefu.
unrelated sidenote: i like this game better in the beggining, more of a survival kinda game, contrary to what a lot of people think.
He didnt mention the outcasts who you can give enclave armour, power armour, and sensor modules? But then again, they dont give you caps. They give you frag grenades, 556 ammo, and stimpacks.

another way to do it...
1- go to prospector fort
2-speak to the capitana and exchange tecnology with him...(give him scrap metal)
3- Steal it form him
4-Keep exchanging the scrap metal and stealing (exchange scrap metal with radaway,stimpak,5.56mm ammo and frag granades...)
5-grap those items and sell...

so I am trying to give scribe jameson my holotags but whenever i go talk to her no dialogue box comes up, she just says a greeting then walks away... anyone know what the issue might be? i think it may be because I am almost finished with the main quest, like i already followed the robot to Jefferson Memorial but i did not enter the rotunda to activate the purifier
if anyone knows what the problem is please tell me

You could also trade ammo. Obviously it doesn't weigh anything and if it's for a gun you never use (5mm for Miniguns, missles for Missle Launchers, or whatever) then why not?

you can also turn in scrap metal to the outcast and get ammo, stimpaks, and grenades.

Yea good vids u can also get alot of caps of weapons and armor u dont mind using .32 pistol Chinese pistol, baseball bat etc. and most raider armor and obvisoly power armors just as long u have Repair skill high and save them

Sometimes liquor can yield you good money if you can support the weight. I also sell weapons and ammo I don't use(Energy Weapons and respective ammo). If you go to Minefield and do your best to disarm all the mines, those mines can make you good money(probably the best start in the beginning).

Giant radoscorpions give you 4 poision glands which sell for 30 caps a piece. getting them however, is a pain in the ass.

u should actually keep all the scrap metal so u can exchange em with winthorp (i guess thats his name) in underworld for rad-x, radaway or stimpaks

The turn over with Walter is higher, the cash you make per piece with him will let you buy more red-x, radaway, or simpacks. Those things aren't in short supply if you talk to doctors, so trading with Winthrop isn't as good of an idea.

@legonazizombiefan im not sure how he got so much ammo but ik the way i did is later in the game when you have done alot of quests you will have alot more caps and you can kill enemys alot faster so you have more ammo and more caps to spend it on. On my lvl 30 i have 10k in caps using this guide :3 and for my assault rife i have over 6000 shots and with my sniper i have 1500

You should add that if you have Broken Steel there is a ghoul outside of Underworld that sells a product. If you expose his con you can tell him to pay and you won't tell people the secret. You get more money if you pass a speech check, and if you fail the first one you get another try. All you have to do is visit him every once in a while and he will give you caps.

You can make significant caps 2000+ by completing Reilly's Rangers and helping Reilly map DC. I received about 2500 caps with my first data dump.

I made 26k caps off doing these tips, the Broken Steel mutant blood, cameras, sensor modules, the Pit's teddy bears, Mothership Zeta's alien crystals, and Point Lookout's punga fruit......I'm glad i got the game of the year edition :D

That isn't the issue, it's the fact that the guide is an excuse for people to watch my video work in the intos. I make the intro, and then I make the guide, because people won't watch it otherwise. With how I work this hobby the into is the meat, and the guide is the fluff. At least that's how I view it when making the content.
For that reason complaining about the intro(s) at all IS complaining about my reason for doing the video(s) to start with.

I was going to mention that once you leave the vault you could go to springvale, kill silver (the woman moriority wants money from, in exchange for your dad's whereabouts) and gain 100 caps right out of the vault and any other useful junk she has laying around.

The hollow tags have a problem tho. During the main quest line once they activate the liberty prime almost no one will talk to you they will only say a phrase when you click on them im not sure if they do talk to you again when you start the broken steel dlc.

Discovering locations for Reilly's Rangers
Selling Lincoln artifacts to the slaves,slavers,or Abraham Washington
Giving Sensor Modules and cameras to Scribe Rothchild
Giving super Mutant Blood samples to Paladin Tristan(Broken Steel required for both)
Doing contract hits(Contract killer perk required)
Killing evil enemies and selling the fingers (Lawbringer perk required)

@Silenthunter287 These are good, but im sure it was intentional that he didn't mention them. Nearly all of them require you to have specific perks or karma in order to use them, or they can't be used until late in the game, when money isn't that much of a problem...

@Silenthunter287 and getting sugar bombs for Murphy, great one for beginners, 15 caps per box or 30 if you pass a speech check, he's in Northwest Seneca Station, very close (North) to Arefu.
unrelated sidenote: i like this game better in the beggining, more of a survival kinda game, contrary to what a lot of people think.

He didnt mention the outcasts who you can give enclave armour, power armour, and sensor modules? But then again, they dont give you caps. They give you frag grenades, 556 ammo, and stimpacks.
