  • Me encantan! ♥

  • i see 9 people dont want to party

  • @kingkane420 Then why did they come here?

  • @devtherevLS maybe they are trying hard to make friends with everyone on the planet

  • Thumbs up if you think that this is much better than Andrew W K song

  • Anyone know where I can find a good tab for this song???

  • Y'know..it's a damn good thing this song is amazing, because this video is retarded.

    Sorry..it had to be said.

  • @pulpstress I like the video lot LOL

  • @pulpstress Wow, you must be 13 years old or less. Who the fuck calls a video retarded?

  • weirdly reminds me of bowie in this vid :P

  • This man is dangerous!, hes just shed his load on your best party frock!... lol

  • oooh, Jarvis.... *sleazy grin*

  • I would attend a Jarvis dance lesson haha

  • Esta horrible...

  • bowie¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡

  • 7 people don't know what a good time looks like

  • The balloon pop at the end :)

    Pulp, amazing

  • Only Jarvis Cocker could stand in the middle of a group of cheerleaders and still command full attention...

  • i just hate the vocal take on this song. why did he sing it so low? the albums great, but this just doesnt do it for me. candida looks so cute, though.

  • More people should have bought This Is Hardcore. In my opinion it was the best thing they ever did

  • Opener 2011:D

  • Pulp are always great. Glad they're playing again this summer.

  • @jrbgeog where are they playing? is it a tour?

  • @twispsalterego They're playing festivals in London, Barcelona, and Germany in Summer 2011

  • @jrbgeog they never play the states!

  • @twispsalterego Yes, that is definitely terrible.

  • Yes, that is definitely a bad thing.

  • great man, great band. :)

  • can you party with me? .......

    ni hablar

  • muy bueno el video =)

  • 7 people are Nickleback fans.

  • @DelScorcho11

thumbs down. I dig Pulp, and I hate nickleback, but I hate this youtube fad of cracking on the dislikes even more.

  • I played this some older people and they swore it was David Bowie!

  • I LOVE Pulp. This is my fav song...

"Why do we have to half kill ourselves just to prove we're alive?I'm here whenever you need me & whenever you need me I won't be here." <3

  • They say the future's beginning tonight :)

  • YESTERDAY IS HERE!!!!!!

  • We will Party Hard next year with you in Barcelona :)

  • Great times the 90s from 95 onwards were one big party!!! glad i lived it!!!

  • I'd go home with him any time. I'm 28 and back in the day when Pulp were having hits I adored that man and my friends thought I was nuts. Well, I can safely say, he's still hot, incredibly talented and perceptive. So much for teenage tastes being embarrassing...

  • I love chiks doing robot dance!

  • I've just turned 35 & i know exactly what Jarvis is going on about.

Great track off the best album they ever did in my opinion

  • "Entertainment can sometimes be hard when the thing that you love is the same thing that is holding you down!"

  • His vice reminds me of David Bowie

  • @deansusky that's exactly what I thought straight away when I first heard this but nobody agreed with me :S

  • @pinsandneedles15 I agree and what fine videos u have

  • Song great, video spoils it!

  • I love him

  • i've never wanted to be a red balloon so much in my life!!!

  • Jarvis Cocker = Walking Sex

  • Jarvis Cocker gives me a Boner period.

  • teen is an additive that is used for the goblin false accussors, they add teen onto childrne of ritula absues and rpae then accusse them,as bakced by the govements masons courts ect.anyoen form genva war convention or i got to die.

  • @delpha3110 Uh... Whaat?

  • @ygodbz ive seen a few jarvis/pulp vids and he does the same thing on all of them.

  • fantastic clip!

  • Jarvis Cocker gives me girlboners.

  • @hallospacegirl Me too, and I'm a man!

  • Jarvis Cocker: bridging the gap between girl boners and boy boners since '78. How beautiful~

  • @hallospacegirl Agreed.

  • GREAT SONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • /Who are you talking to?

  • grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr,ladies

  • Jarvis

    This different Class

  • puro bowie...

  • Oh my its like me and my boyfriend, the girls are bigger than him

    Jarvis cocker is so hot

  • Before you enter the palace of wisdom you have to decide are you ready to rock.

The band had transformed since their earlier albums in every possible way, and this is a great example of the change. Sounds like a David Bowie song.

  • Very good indeed. When the partys over will you cum home with me?

  • rubish

  • Pulp and Suede are by far the two best bands from the Bripop wave.

  • è vero!!!! ^_*

  • definatley

  • Comment removed

  • @sonicadv27 blur, oasis, and the verve were good too. but Pulp FTW!

  • @sonicadv27 ABSOLUTELY!

  • deffo there two best bands by far

  • @sonicadv27 what about blur and the stone roses

  • @nilbog44 Blur were not as good as Suede or Pulp, imo, and the Stones weren't even part of that whole britpop thing... Great band, though.

  • @sonicadv27 stone roses sorta kicked off Britpop with Spike Island mate, they just faded quickly after and broke up, learn your history.

  • @GoCubs3425 it's not history, you're the only one i've ever heard saying the Stones were the ones who started it. Don't get me wrong, i love that band, but they weren't a part of the britpop scene, they were just a british alternative rock band who happened to exist around the same time that whole movement started, and that is not enough. Suede were first true Britpop band, and quite ironically the first band to get out of it too.

  • @GoCubs3425 They weren't strictly Britpop but I think pretty much every British band from the 90s were influenced by them. They opened the door for bands like Oasis, Blur, Pulp, the Manics etc and gave leeway to a decade of British greatness.

Kinda like the relationship between Pixies and Grunge. Again, they weren't part of the genre but the influence they had on the big American 90s bands is undeniable.

  • @sonicadv27 I'd argue, but sure they're better than fuckin Gallaghers

  • @sonicadv27

and blur and oasis and elastica and supergr....

    actully it was all brilliant!!

  • creepy, weird, but really good.

  • stunningly simple..yet brilliant clip

  • Aww poor Jarvis at the end.

  • probably best band of the 90´s, Jarvis kicks ass everybody knows

  • i added Jarvis on facebook :D

  • I love this video for so many reasons... the coreography is fantastic!

  • jarvis plays bowie

  • agreed

  • Best part of this tune is at 1:46 when the main guitar riff kicks back in again, I love the transition.

  • before you enter the palace of wisdom you have to decide, ARE YOU READY TO ROCK?

  • super lyrics Id say.. And I think this sounds better than album version

  • Oh can you party with me?

Can you show me a good time?

Do you even know what one looks like?

And I don't need to hear your stories again -

just get on the floor and show me what you're made of.

  • A massively underplayed tune.

    One of Pulp's best.

  • jadore la fin avec le ballon xD

  • this guy sounds like david bowie, good song too :P

  • correct sentence:

WHAT THE F**K that was pretty sexy

  • Temazooo

    hay que puro karretiar cuatico

  • jarvis me dio su cerveza en un concierto :D

  • Can you party with me?

  • PARTY HARD

  • Pulp changed their direction with this album, I wonder whether it was purely Jarvis's brainchild or the rest of the band too. The song is the best on the record, Jarvis is already established pop-idol, confident, sleek, jaded. Here at his best.

  • A great tune but the Tom Middleton remix is superb! Love the two chicks at 1.30 as well. :-)

  • Jarvis what a dancer, whta an artist

  • scottt walker vocals

  • la voz es identica a bowie¡¡¡

  • fantastic song, jarvis is a GOD!!!!!!!!!!

  • JARVIS IS ALWAYS HOT!!!!

  • jarvis=<3

  • Reminds of of last nite in Notts watchin' the Chav's havin' it large at BZR!!

  • Reminds me of EVERY night in Nottingham wacthing chavs havin it large at BZR!

  • Jarvis Cocker isn't a freak he's just god.

  • he's actually a freak.. a freakgod!<3

  • i'd subscribe to that religion.

  • I agree...

  • i love the way he moves!

  • I love the part of the ballon in the end.

    hahahaa

  • It awfully cute. I don't think he was expecting it to pop.

  • this is so davidbowie :)

  • Jarvis (L)

  • I love his head bang on the word rock.

    Hot!

  • lol this guy i funny lol hahaha respeckt for funs o lol

  • Love the dancing. & the balloon.

  • fantastic slippers!!!

  • this boy makes me laugh, so much style for me

  • of course... that effect is entirely dependant on how loud you play this tune!

  • I always love how the distorted guitar seers your head off when it kicks in before the chorus... knitting needle in the ear like!

  • OMG!

I absolutly love that dance steps that he does...

and i love the song too..

  • i like cheese do you?

  • Pulps videos are always so colourful. Great song :)

  • I always thought this song sounded like Talking Heads. As always for Pulp the lyrics are funny...and true I think! I know a few ppl who like to "Party Hard" as they put it.

  • Awesome video! Love Jarvis' dance moves.

  • thanks for uploading, i love this video

  • I love the distorted guitar on this song and the bowie-esque vocal.

  • A work of utter genius.

  • Cracking song!
