@dance4ever22100 Yes! Carmex® can be mixed with lipstick (Bert’s Bees®, ChapStick® & other lip balms ReMix too!) My personal favorite: ½ Cherry Carmex + ½ Lipstick…perfect color and smells yummy!
You can also use Liptix ReMix for the following:
RECOVER under eye concealer (stick) from the end of the tube.
Scratch-off a metallic eye-shadow in your melted lipstick mixture to make a shimmery version of your favorite color
@LATINA2040 HA! I prefer to think of it as Lipstick Resuscitation! I use my Magic Molder to rescue the lipstick colors I buy but don't wear becasue the color is not what I thought it was in the store. Yes, I was tired of carrying 2 (or more) tubes of lipstick in my purse and mixing them on my lips.
I have this, actually I bought 2 and they are great. You can also use the molds for making new lipstick. I have bought a couple of lipstick bases and added my own color. Very much fun. Mixing lipsticks with mica for a pearl effect is so cool. I have made some for my grand kids with the pearl mica and a light color. Love it...
@MzPinkKiiTTy The "site" will be accessible on 1/3/11…some exciting news for LipStix ReMix…stay tuned and please check lipstix remix dot com on the 3rd of January
I am 90 minutes into trying to make one successful lipstick. The digging and melting is very messy, and the lipstick mold is sticking and not releasing. Trying again.
@16annieb don't forget to use non-stick cooking spray. spray on a paper towel and wipe inside the lipstick mold (2 bottom halves and 1 top piece). this helpful tip works everytime :)
@beautyjunkey I have tried to post a picture so you can see the spatula included in your system that allows you to quickly and easily recover the lipstick left in the cup. The picture demonstrates the spatula removing the lipstick perfectly. If anyone knows how to post a picture on YouTube comments, let me know. For the next video, I will definitely demo this step for you...very easy and surprising to see how much lipstick is recovered. Great suggestion.
seems like its expensive. I bet if they lower the price of this from $19 to $5 they will sell millions.
My biigest question is, how do you get the 1/3 of lipstick out? I have watched this video and seen this on Shark Tank and both times she cuts pieces froma new lipstick. How can you get it out of the tube from inside the tube?
great idea to start demo with actual recovery from cup- there is a spatula in the system that works perfectly. I have a photo but do not know how to post a pic...I'll try to figure it out so you can see it to believe :) thanks for everyones comments - Jill
So dig the lipstick out of three cups with a spatula (which I've done before and it makes a hot mess), put in cup, microwave cup, spray Pam in mold, pour hot liquid (but some lipsticks will blow up in microwave), clean up yucky cup, put in fridge 10 minutes, put on counter for 30 minutes, put mold in new lipstick tube that I'm again going to have to dig at the bottom, and release the mold. Maybe good to make your own colors but what a pain to get last 1/3 out. I'd rather just use my lipbrush.

She never demonstrates having to DIG out the bottom parts of 3 tubes cause it's a messy pain. No thank you. Too time consuming and inconvenient.

@lappeps
Non stick cooking spray is used for a mold release agent.
good question :)

This was such an obvious winner of a product; amazing that she couldn't find "financing" and "experience" except on a TV show.
Look for Chinese counterfeits at a Wal-Mart near you!
