Can anybody plz explain how to run CD's or DVD's on ubuntu? couse i just pops up an icon that show the DVD-RW (something like that) so how do i run it?

I can tell by the sound of the fans that you have a nice rig. You should think about water cooling it, you get more performance cause you can overclock it way higher than your cpu comes and you dont have to listen to 10 fans all day. You probably know this but just check out water cooling btw what motherboard you got?

I have an Intel Desktop Board Extreme Edition

I do have a good rig, but not all the fans are in the computer. Some fans are sitting around the computer to make the room and also the computer cooler. Thanks for the suggestion though!

Nice, nice. What socket type and cpu ya got? Oh ya great motherboard btw. We have one of them in our living room hooked up to a sony bravia 42" HDTV. Its water cooled and is running a intel core 2 dua extreme 2.2ghz overclocked to 2.9Ghz. 6gb ram and a Nvidia GPU 1gb i forgot the GPU just know its 1gb GDDR5, oh ya and i put that rig together my self and im only 13yrs old lol XD. I think ill try this OS on my laptop is it any good im sure i can install ndiswrapper to get my wifi working.

Does the new 'mini-cd edition' contain graphics card drivers so that I can run Compiz Fusion without having to manually find and install the drivers myself?

Sabayon comes with Compiz Fusion.

Only supported graphics cards work with Compiz fusion.

If you have a supported graphics card, then Compiz Fusion will work "right out of the box" :-).

You can make it dual boot, or you can make it install the OS by itself.

is sabayon free and can u tell me any configurations besides the normal are aplicable to my Gforce card. I am a Linux newbie.

Sabayon is Free. There is Xserver Settings in Sabayon, if that is what you mean.

are there any flaws with sabayon, you noticed? I used to have ubuntu but had many problems with it running on a gforce graphics card. Will sabalon work with gforce ok?

I use an Nvidia GeForce 7900 with Sabayon and it works just fine. So yes, it will work with Geforce.

The only flaws I have come across are it is challenging to run applications, and if you change the theme, it is hard to get it back.

only sabayon but vista is still there on another partition :-/

If you partition your harddrive in Vista, you can install Sabayon on the other partition.

The Sabayon installer will install Grub, with grub you can choose if you want to boot into Vista or Sabayon when you turn on your computer. Hope that helped!
