The guy is doing exactly what he is criticizing the environmentalists for..he is builing his career on the global warning.I live in a town in a nation which is getting richer and richer.There are so many cars that parents are afraind to let the children play outside.Children,who dont know where the milk comes from.. i pay higher and higher taxes to eliminate the troubles caused by overconsumption..and .. its not gonna be better if someone would be telling us it is better.We must consume less.

I agree to your point, that we must consume less.

However,

Who will? the overall population, if asked to get rid of their Xboxes, central heating, bike to work, eat less. Would not.

They would not SACRIFICE their standards of living.

Its called the 'Selfish gene'

and WE ALL HAVE IT, some with a greater degree than others.
