They battled on wax, now people want to shoot and live the image which is bs. Some may say that Roxanne Shante won the battle of life because she went on to pursue her education and Sparky took another route but to me they both of them are still winners Sparky welcome back and thanks for not giving up on yourself and life. In any case Sparky D was hot for a second back in the day, I think was like 9 or 10 when she was out and my girl cousins used to battle and lip sync Roxanne & Sparky's tracks. Sparky was bold to take on Shante because Shante was sharp as a knife. Round 1 - Roxanne Shante' vs. Sparky Dee was a fiecre rap battle but Shante could handle the guys in rap also. As for Sparky I'm happy to know she turned her life around to be her own best friend & stopped being her own worst enemy.
