I dont practice Wushu never studied any form of martial art, I am a disabled war vet with 26 disabilities including arthritus in my neck back and arm bad knees elbows shins, plus a plethora of other problems but im developing my own fighting style with two straight swords. Ive been doing it for 5 weeks now trying to uplod the week 5 vid Check it out tell me what you think Fluid in Motion Fitness Week 4. at least till i can get the week 5 up lol the week 5 i incorperate kicks into the sword style

Hi, I think the most important thing is to understand what Wushu is. Most young kids first start learning Wushu just for fun, but when novelty wears off and they can not take the pain during training, they begin to argue that Wushu is of no use, because they never saw Wushu athletes in a boxing ring and kick big guy's ass.

Actually, anyone that is able to do things in this video can fight better physically, but what they lack is battle experience in a boxing ring.

@gui123you when we practice wushu shifu normally sets apart a couple of hours to work on sanda, chinese wrestling, jointlocks, and weapon sparring. when we go to competitions we normally win medals for fighting. dont say we lack experience because some of us dont :)

@akarc24 he's actually quite mild once you get to know him. Some ego is necessary in wushu in order to do the forms well. Such as instinctively pulling off clean poses in forms..

as of right now, i say zhao qing jian, not being bias. cuz it seems everytime zqj takes to the carpet hes gona medal and in the case of changquan its a guarentee most of the time, and when he does lose everyones stunned. but wudi is so young only time will tell whose better, but right now id have to say zqj

zhao qing jian is like around 30 years old now and what he means is by the age standard in wushu today ( the average age being like 20 ) he would seem a bit old but he's still the best northern practitioner in the world if u ask me.
