yea searched up how to build a comp. and found this. VERY helpful even though all i needed to know was how to install a grphics card it was still a good vid. need a new fricken graph card cause fricken BFBC2 has so high end graphics and my old 1 crapped out on me :P
u must change your hard drive and your cpu ...cpu 2.80 or 3.00 ghz or something and your hard drive to 300gig its cheap and good but your video card is extreme awesome for gaming :P
In my class we've been working with MSI motherboards and they're far less complex than the older ones we have been doing. I plan to build my computer very soon after I collect some side money for the parts.
im new to this and i want to build my own computer, but so far with all the videos ive seen they put thermal gel on the cpu.... is this a necessary step? please comment back
what a sexy computer. i have to get a new computer. im using a old hp that only has 256mb of ram... i cant play anything on this computer without some type of lag. think im going to build a computer for my needs. this video helps alot. 5 Stars
slightly different you need to make sure you get the right part, see what menory ,CPU, video card ,PS ,will work with the motherboard .Shop around for a good motherboard and study the spec
This was so helpful. You know what your doing your not reading a "How To" magazine while doing this. You know what your doing and you went into every little detail. Maybe you could have included the reason why you had the anti-static bag, because if you attract any static your computer is dead.
Have to say, great tutorial, very detailed and informative. I'm not considering building a PC at the moment but may do so in the near future and I really appreciate the effort you went to with this. Also very cool that you're still replying to comments and helping people nearly a year after the video was first posted.
btw, I also thought I would let you know that you shouldn't use SATA for optical drives because all systems stop recognizing it eventually unlike IDE, you can have your IDE optical drive and it will always be recognized as long as the system is running but it's just a weird thing.. I have 5 pc's and every one of them forced me to get a new IDE optical drive, and each one is with completely different parts so it's not that I screwed up on one of them. I've even seen other people mention it too.
I couldn't help but notice that you were wearing a welding mast during the part where you were installing the optical drive, I am also a big fan of MSI products but I have never had "May require some welding"...
This video is awsome, this is just what I was looking for - a detailed explanation of how to put your computer together, thank you SO much whoever made this video/tutorial.
good video, you explained things well and this will help all people who want to build a computer for their first time. very encouraging. simple. easy.
i know that you need to ground your self to help with static charge so that you dont destroy components but what i want to know is do any of the parts come with grounding wrist bands and what parts are most prone?
Great tutorial, I think this will help me a lot setting up my first PC. Could you do a video about setting up the BIOS as well? That'd be nice to have as well.
heres my question how did the E6750 treat u im building my own and i have it only thing is i got a bad MOBO 3 pins were missing and i demanded a rebate but i havent got one so im just wonderin how is it
Excellent job. This video is very informative and covers things that aren't covered in other how-to videos, like how important it is to read the manuals - some bozos don't even mention that.
no you dont have to ground yourself if you are using rubber gloves, if you do not ground yourself a static charge could go through your pc destroying everything
Enjoyed the video. I'm about to build my own system using a q6600 an asus maximus mobo for upgradability, and a new 800 watt power supply. It's all going to my older case. When my budget isn't so tight I'll expand on it a bit. Anyway, I didn't notice him putting any thermal grease on cpu cooler. Maybe I'm high. Was that correct?
