  • looks pretty easy

  • me too i have nx8600gtx

  • This guy is just a pure beaut, you and your powa supply

  • YOU BUILT IT WITH LOVE :)

  • Your accent with the words "power supply" are simply charming.

  • Im going to build my own computer at summer for about 2600$ (2000€)..

    - Thermaltake Shark Case

    - Intel DP55KG "Kingsberg" P55 LGA1156 motherboard

    - Intel Core i7-860 2.80GHz

    - Sapphire Radeon HD5850 1GB GDDR5 Toxic

    - 2x OCZ Platinum Edition 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 (8GB of RAM)

    - LG GH22NSRBB 22X DVD+-RW SATA

    - Seagate Barracuda ES.2 1TB 7200rpm 3,5"

    - Zalman CNPS10X Extreme CPU Cooler

    - Corsair HX650W HX 650W power

  • @TechLogin 750W and you're good to go

  • yea searched up how to build a comp. and found this. VERY helpful even though all i needed to know was how to install a grphics card it was still a good vid. need a new fricken graph card cause fricken BFBC2 has so high end graphics and my old 1 crapped out on me :P

  • 5/5 star very good video maybe best pc build video and subscribed

  • Get a nice monitor man! You got a nice system like that, might as well upgrade that microwave looking monitor to a flat panel LCD!!

  • nice video kiinda sucky graphics card though :P

  • Well duh, it was two years ago...

  • oo pretty colors

    5/5

  • i built a computer back in 09 lol

  • Nice Video, but i dont understand the utility of a 700W PSU; your computer wont consume more than 400W

  • u must change your hard drive and your cpu ...cpu 2.80 or 3.00 ghz or something and your hard drive to 300gig its cheap and good but your video card is extreme awesome for gaming :P

  • well he might not need 300 gigs he might be putting a lot of stuff on an external drive and this is about a year old so he has some older parts

  • very good the video

    5/5 star man, good :)

  • How much did that all cost you???

    please replaah (:

  • How much did that cost you??

    please reply (:

  • @chald0z it was about 500

  • Beatiful graphic card .

    Very good video (Y)

  • In my class we've been working with MSI motherboards and they're far less complex than the older ones we have been doing. I plan to build my computer very soon after I collect some side money for the parts.

  • I guess youtube is messed up ,It will NOT let reply to some comments. Thanks Guys and gals

  • i love you thanx

  • when i getting my compaq presario the Ram is 3gig. but should i upgrade to 5?

and the graphic card is "GeForce 6150SE" is that good??

and the sound set is "Hight definition 7.1 audio is that good?

  • Nice computer!

  • was a great help

    nice vid

    thanx bro

  • im new to this and i want to build my own computer, but so far with all the videos ive seen they put thermal gel on the cpu.... is this a necessary step? please comment back

  • yes but most cpu's come with them pre applied or the heatsink has some on it. unless you buy a oem cooler then you need to buy some.

  • I already know how to build computers, the only reason that I favorite the video was because of the dude's bad-ass accent lol

  • Power suplaaaah!

  • what a sexy computer. i have to get a new computer. im using a old hp that only has 256mb of ram... i cant play anything on this computer without some type of lag. think im going to build a computer for my needs. this video helps alot. 5 Stars

  • How much was all that?!

  • thx this will help me allot when i'm gonna build my computer

  • so informative^_^

    this is great vid^_^..

  • You forgot to put the thermal paste on cpu before putting on your stock fan.

  • You Cant put the thermal paste on a stock fan ,Void the CPU warranty

Stock fan as thermal tape on it

  • btw nice vid :)

  • you forgot the paste to cpu. :) i just say for begginners.

  • what heat sink cooler is that?

  • great vid may try this myself...

  • Like he said, it's not hard to do.

    Just like Lego :)

  • hey im new. but

is all the computer parts same as this ?? or the motherboard or such can be slightly different ?

  • slightly different you need to make sure you get the right part, see what menory ,CPU, video card ,PS ,will work with the motherboard .Shop around for a good motherboard and study the spec

  • Fair GPU, very good PSU ;-D

  • i use a 500gb so it goes hella fast

  • Eh, capacity doesn't affect the speed.

  • I soooo wish I had that PC... Mines as noisy as noisy can get...

  • man you are so formal

  • What version of Vista did you install?

  • how would you rate this system setup outa 10

  • $600 1/2008 today $400 2009

6 low med today still you know what your getting when u build your own pc.

  • next time do the power supply first

  • Why ? Power cables in the way .

  • One more good thing try to snatch up the wires inside the chassi to get an good airflow

  • thank you man perfect vıdeo..Iam learn u

  • what about the cpu paste cuz that could fry ur cpu

  • The cpu fan has thermo tape on it.

  • would you say the hardest part is the power supply.

  • Call me a noob. but can a dvd burner also read disks ??

  • Yes New burners WRITE Speed DVD+R 22X DVD+RW 8X DVD-R 22X DVD-RW 6X CD-R 48X CD-RW 32X DVD+R DL 16X DVD-R DL 12X DVD-RAM 12X READ Speed DVD-ROM 16X CD-ROM 48X
  • Hah, the accent made me laugh so hard.. No offense.. Just funny

  • excellent stuff, makes it easy while watching you. not so dauting, keep em coming.

  • great guide + i love the way u sound so enthusiastic

  • I love your tone as you say, 6:50,

"I am so impressed with Tagan's products..."

    In a monotone voice. hilarious.

  • that was good...

one thing i always put the motherboard into the case before seating the cpu... personal preference though.

    tip: tidy up wiring.

You sound a little bit like Microsoft Sam!

  • Good for people who dont have money 4 an expensice gaming rig^^

    Nice Video!!!

  • This was so helpful. You know what your doing your not reading a "How To" magazine while doing this. You know what your doing and you went into every little detail. Maybe you could have included the reason why you had the anti-static bag, because if you attract any static your computer is dead.

  • Thanks awesomesolo

    willettfx

  • Have to say, great tutorial, very detailed and informative. I'm not considering building a PC at the moment but may do so in the near future and I really appreciate the effort you went to with this. Also very cool that you're still replying to comments and helping people nearly a year after the video was first posted.

  • Thanks hellguy1981 Just Trying Help

    Willettfx

  • great tutorial I mean amazing you did a very good job and went into every little detail nice comp too.. 5/5 :)

  • Nice video card. I just ordered a computer off of tiger direct. Once i get it i cant wait to build it.

  • Very Nice Guide.

  • Thanks :D

  • ah ic, I knew it was probably something like that, it just looked like a welding mask to me :P

  • btw, I also thought I would let you know that you shouldn't use SATA for optical drives because all systems stop recognizing it eventually unlike IDE, you can have your IDE optical drive and it will always be recognized as long as the system is running but it's just a weird thing.. I have 5 pc's and every one of them forced me to get a new IDE optical drive, and each one is with completely different parts so it's not that I screwed up on one of them. I've even seen other people mention it too.

  • Is not a welding mask ,magnifying glass loops / Headset.

  • I couldn't help but notice that you were wearing a welding mast during the part where you were installing the optical drive, I am also a big fan of MSI products but I have never had "May require some welding"...

  • Is it just me or did he not dual channel the RAM?

  • took me till 20 seconds to figure out ur not microsoft sam

  • Nice Video :D

  • You have selected Microsoft Sam as the computer default voice.

  • he sounds like the microsoft voice

  • how much do you think it all costs now?

  • 600 or cheaper

  • is the graphic card you're using good to play the game "Crysis" with or would i need a better one.

  • Definitely need a better GPU to play Crysis at any decent settings...

8800GT/9800GT should do you fine (if you wanted to go with nVidia)

  • thanks dude!!!

  • That case is out of stock can you tell me if you know any other cases like that one.

  • Any case will work Just make sure that the case is Motherboard Compatibility for Micro ATX and ATX.

  • This video is awsome, this is just what I was looking for - a detailed explanation of how to put your computer together, thank you SO much whoever made this video/tutorial.

  • This is the best walkthrough on youtube, great job really showing every part to building a computer.

  • hey yo, did ur MSI Video card come with a sticker??

  • so i heard this guy likes tagan power supplies.

  • I never heard that... Where did you hear it? /Sarcasm

He said he likes them way too much. Other then that great video and really helpful

  • wow that helped a lot

  • I love building computers. Sometimes I take mine apart and then just put ti back together agian

  • wow...thets what i have to say...

  • Very cool, You sound like microsoft sam but real :)

  • Yea very good and true you do sound like microsoft sam lol

  • love your mobo but the 1 pci x16 slot kinda puts me down

  • Not everyone wants to go SLI/Crossfire.

  • hey great vid this was just what i needed to make my new pc thanks for the help.

  • thanks a bunch im biudling my first cpu and i needed some pointers

  • ur cool , ur accent is cool too

  • probably the best narration ever

    so detailed

  • good video, you explained things well and this will help all people who want to build a computer for their first time. very encouraging. simple. easy.

  • But oh well... he nicely explained things! :)

  • Oh man, you have no idea but I just burst out laughing so much when I read your comment. POWERSUPPLAHH! :D

  • U have a what kind of accent?? It sounds you know, very unique.. BTW im from Puerto Rico

  • i think its a deep cajun accent. not sure tho

  • Thank you very much! This will help me out big time...Keep up the great videos

  • i know that you need to ground your self to help with static charge so that you dont destroy components but what i want to know is do any of the parts come with grounding wrist bands and what parts are most prone?

  • Great tutorial, I think this will help me a lot setting up my first PC. Could you do a video about setting up the BIOS as well? That'd be nice to have as well.

  • Why did you decide t go with intel over AMD? And Vista Premium over Linux? That's not the way to roll.

  • thanks man ur great

  • i like youre videos, you take it slow and dont rush, it helps alot of people see and understand alot better.

  • hey can u send me a list of parts that i will need and the web sites that i will have to go to get the parts thanks

  • Very very nice vid :D

  • very nice video .. man... thanks!

  • MSI are fantastic!

  • heres my question how did the E6750 treat u im building my own and i have it only thing is i got a bad MOBO 3 pins were missing and i demanded a rebate but i havent got one so im just wonderin how is it

  • Excellent job. This video is very informative and covers things that aren't covered in other how-to videos, like how important it is to read the manuals - some bozos don't even mention that.

  • here's my question... is it cheaper to build one's own custom computer?

  • Yes, it is.

  • very nice very useful tnx bald man xD

  • Good job.

I install the RAM outside the case, right after the CPU install.

Zip ties are great for cable management.

*** Always ground yourself to remove static electricity before handling electronic parts. Or wear rubber gloves.

  • hey i got a question. what does ground yourself mean? and if you wear rubber gloves do you still have to ground yourself? thanks...

  • no you dont have to ground yourself if you are using rubber gloves, if you do not ground yourself a static charge could go through your pc destroying everything

  • Hey! Same GPU! I havent seen anyone else ever with an NX8600GTS.

    Nice card indeed

  • There is thermal tape On the fan .

This is a retail CPU ,If you apply thermal paste to retail CPU you will VOID YOUR WARRANTY.

  • Enjoyed the video. I'm about to build my own system using a q6600 an asus maximus mobo for upgradability, and a new 800 watt power supply. It's all going to my older case. When my budget isn't so tight I'll expand on it a bit. Anyway, I didn't notice him putting any thermal grease on cpu cooler. Maybe I'm high. Was that correct?

  • good job!

  • sweet i needed this!

  • Well, it is a fine PSU, I don't blame him. I'm sure that PSU was around 200 bucks or more, being modular.

  • he loves his power supply

  • i admire that you take the time to teach people about computers.i love computers and this movie makes something complex easy to build.
