@moproducer Didn't the Beatles claim2be more popular than Christ? Well, I would not even began2know how2figure that out, and what they said doesn't matter much2me. And I think at the end of the day, or,more importantly, at the end of time,it won't be an issue. Jesus will still be the Savior, the Redeemer, The Holy One, the King of Kings...(I could go on,but I'd be at it for quite awhile)And the Beatles, well, only God knows if anyone is really gonna care about their recordings-THEN! UTakeCare!
It's not often when you see a LASTING change in a person who has made a profession of faith. I saw a good friend's father (who was a whole lot like Jesse Taylor) change dramatically after being saved. I witnessed that first-hand.
I am another. If I had not found Jesus just before my eighteenth birthday, I would either be dead or in prison.
Another thing: You can have a hundred googles of money in the bank, but if you don't have Jesus as your Saviour, you still don't hav a thing.

@moproducer I hope you realize how much you do need Jesus in your life. I have studied people in the past.People of faith always seem to fare better, particularly as pertaining to crime and drug addiction. They have a lower rate of recidivism, and, actually, are somewhat less likely to have these problems to begin with(often the minority in most programs). This is not to say that there aren't problems that a Christian could struggle with, as we do not live in a perfect world. ReachOut2Him! Please!
@moproducer Are U being sarcastic? If you really want to know...Here I go...I believe He died on the cross for me and yes, you + for all ppl to forgive them for their evil or sins. I believe that the early churchfathers wrote about what they saw w/their own eyes,ie, what they(most of 'em) were put2 death for. They could have denied it and lived, but they so know the facts that they choose to die than to deny the truth.I am not a hater or a judger. And I am free in Christ+I do love it!
@womanwonder10 I guess you can worship Jesus and worship the Oaks, too. I think the Oaks are probably more popular, but there's nothing wrong with Jesus.
@moproducer I know what Jesus has done4me so I will take every chance Ican2pass this most joyous,life-changing message, even though I live in a world that seems2want2believe and/or make God more+more irrelevent.I am not trying2hurt anyone, just the exact opposite.I have a real desire2share this beautiful GOOD News with all I can until the day I die,or 'til Christ returns(and He will). My life has been saved from destruction, thank God.Check out this site: Revfiskj on YT.TrueLove4U.
wanna know something interesting, i live in franklin county indiana and about a mile away from my house is [little] cedar creek and in about another 3 or 4 miles near the end of it where it joins the whitewater river is the little cedar church one of the oldest buildings in indiana built in the very early 1800s [i cant remember exactly] wonder if thats where jesse taylor was baptised?
I guess this is the closest I can get, for now (wishful thinking), of seeing my 2 fave vocal groups ever (the Oak Ridge Boys & the Gaither Vocal Band) perform together. I think it would be so cool for them to work together on a project.
the mystries if the kindgom are just that to thoose who dont know christ as there saviour but to thoose who know christ the mystries ofthe kingdom get revalled
and the rapture and everything that goes with will make sense to anyone that has trully been bornagain and the and to have your name in the lambs book of life is a great thing christ rose so that we as gods people one day will here the trumpet sound and we shall be caught to meet him in the air i cant wait
Guy Penrid doesn't miss a beat when he's singing. he can sing with a group as well-loved as the Oak Ridge Boys, the GVB or solo. A true blessing from Gos.
Phenomenal song! Richard Sterban has not aged a bit! Isn't he in his early 70s? Wow! The Oaks have gotten so much better with age and I am glad they are back in gospel music where they are supposed to be. They tried to change with the times in country music and it did not go well. I am also thankful that William Lee Golden is back with the group. Should've never come to him leaving, but you can't change the past.
Im in the AA program because of different reasons but I have seem recovering alcholes stay in recovery for years and they love their new life. I can say only God can remove our addiction. Praise and glory be to him who reigns on high. I dont live a good life right now, but hopefully it will all change around here soon. I still have hope and faith.
howdy,i'd like to tell you this, where it says born again,it suppose to be,"born from above",& not be as the fallen angels,in JUDE the first 7 verses,it is born from above,& born by the water,it's not being baptized,it's when mommy water breaks.i hope you have a KJV bible,& a Strong's Concordance,dr.strong took EVERY word & took it back to the real meanings,of different languages.I'm not arguing,i'm just telling you the truth, not traditions of man,& their shall be no rapture.
@510rotten John 3:16 has nothing to being born"again",it says FOR WHOM SO EVER "BELIEVE IN CHRIST",i hope you not thinking about a"rapture" cause it's very false teaching.
this is awesome. i think this song has a powerful message. recently i was at church and a preacher recited these lyrics during a sermon as an illustration.
