I fail to see the problem. There's cop killing and civilian slaughtering EVERYWHERE in GTA 4, you constantly kill Americans in Fallout. Killing Americans is nothing new to video gaming, and I see no problem with it. Video games are what they are, GAMES. Nothing is real, they're stories, interactive books. Call of Duty is no more dangerous than The Outsiders. But to immunize one group of people from being harmed in a fictional reality is flat out bogus.

Tom Clancy games are the best example of a reason to have violent video games that I can think of and that would be justice enforced in a correct manner.
Tom Clancy games are realistic military shooter games that focus on anti terrorism task forces. Home grown terrorism is just as much a real threat as any foreign terrorism. The rainbow 6 games are classics which focus on military tactics and are a great example of violence in games that is "good". One of my personal favorite games. His novels are ok too.

Theres tons of propaganda in games these days. Fallout New Vegas stood out for me, where the "NCR" was the good guys even though theyre portrayed as power hungry. About the games: It's something we have been seeing with this generation's (the X-Box 360, PS3) video games. The mass majority of video games in the States, that are also the best sellers are military FPS games like Rainbow Six, Battlefield, Call of Duty, etc. They all have the same xenophobic/nationalistic storyline of "Everything that isn't American is evil and must be killed." I think it's also why we're seeing Japanese developers/games getting their game pushed aside.
The Japanese video games used to dominate the market with Final Fantasy, or Dragon Quest, or any other Japanese RPG game. However, along with the decline in these games' quality, there is a lot of hate propaganda towards these games. Anyone who prefers Japanese games over American military shooters are automatically becomes an outcast and become a target of ridicule and bullying. The American market is trying to kill off Japanese games because Japanese games tend to have more variety, AND...
AND storylines that doesn't deal with xenophobia. A Japanese flight series known as Ace Combat used to take place in a fictional version of earth known as "Strangereal", however the storylines were very deep as it dealt with corruption, extremist facists groups trying to pit two nations against each other (Ace Combat 5), or the effects of war on the soldiers. In Ace Combat Zero, your co-pilot in the ending apologizes to you for betraying you, and thanks you for your friendship.
However, with the new Ace Combat (Assault Horizon), the storyline takes place in the real world, and it has a storyline where Russian rebels try to attack America, and you must be the pilot who takes out the evil Russian menace. The storyline became another Call of Duty, full of xenophobia. It was horrific to me. Ace Combat turned into American propaganda, even though it was developed by the Japanese. Gameplay was changed to make it more like a rail shooter too. What is this world coming to?

@janenba352 I was comparing the newer Final Fantasy games to the older ones. That's just me, preferring the older ones like IV and VI. Still, you don't see many Japanese games these days. They just fly under the radar. Games used to consist of abstract graphics and silly premises, but now they are very realistic - and often very controversial and negative.... I think playing games a lot can have some effect on the mind.. but it varies from person to person.

Look at the Drones in the military. you see soldiers using PlayStation paddles to control Drones (Air, Land and sea). This was done on purpose. @solarDeviant I think they are made the way they are to make money. And as an engineer I was pleased at the choice to use a gamepad. Here in the UK I have seen the xbox 360 pad used for drones and bomb disposal robots. Its well designed, ergonomic and most of all a familiar tool to the operator. Also you dont need to caps key words in your typing people can still read them in lowercase. Gaming is harmless your just behaving the same way as the last generation dealt with films.
Whether it's the people against the state, or the state against the people, it doesn't really matter. They're just blurring the line and confusing the issue so everyone is a potential enemy and a potential threat - whilst they advocate violence by saying ''are you tough enough to shoot a fellow countryman?'' The Assassin Creed Series for example is fairly violent yet it also has a strong anti NWO message.

I never condone shooting unarmed civilians. But if 51% of the U.S. population decides to overthrow the current government PEACEFULLY in favor of the constitution and are all labeled as "terrorists" under the "patriot act", and military action is taken against them, then I have no problem shooting armed soldiers. The constitution guarantees us the right to organize and overthrow (peacefully) with the first amendment, and follow through with it violently(If need be) with the second amendment.

I fail to see the problem. There's cop killing and civilian slaughtering EVERYWHERE in GTA 4, you constantly kill Americans in Fallout. Killing Americans is nothing new to video gaming, and I see no problem with it. Video games are what they are, GAMES. Nothing is real, they're stories, interactive books. Call of Duty is no more dangerous than The Outsiders. But to immunize one group of people from being harmed in a fictional reality is flat out bogus.

Tom Clancy games are realistic military shooter games that focus on anti terrorism task forces. Home grown terrorism is just as much a real threat as any foreign terrorism. The rainbow 6 games are classics which focus on military tactics and are a great example of violence in games that is "good". One of my personal favorite games. His novels are ok too.

About the games: It's something we have been seeing with this generation's (the X-Box 360, PS3) video games. The mass majority of video games in the States, that are also the best sellers are military FPS games like Rainbow Six, Battlefield, Call of Duty, etc. They all have the same xenophobic/nationalistic storyline of "Everything that isn't American is evil and must be killed." I think it's also why we're seeing Japanese developers/games getting their game pushed aside.

They just fly under the radar. Such a fact less video throws into doubt much of the other clips I've watched over the last 12 months on the AlexJones channel. The game topic is so uninformed its almost funny yet the newsreader blabs on regurgitating incorrect statements as if they were absolute fact. Let me offer my own opinion then:
How can anyone on one hand criticise a 40 hour computer game for brainwashing in one breath and then mention joining the forces in the next one without saying the same? Rank amateur video. :[

@Darunatura A promotional article for Rainbow Six Patriots calls on you to stop a homegrown terrorist threat and make the call: do you kill civilians to save perhaps hundreds of other lives? This video game, based on the Tom Clancy series, simulates a war on Patriots and so-called homegrown terrorists, posing scenarios where the hero decides whether to pull the trigger on Americans or shoot cops and civilians for the ‘greater good’.

@Darunatura You are missing the point. The subconscious mind picks up everything. Those in the media understand this and have been using techniques since TV and mass media were invented. Why do you think they put subliminal messages in things. They developed MK ULTRA programs that can be triggered in a person subconsciously. The people playing these games are becoming DESENSITIZED to violence and such.

@solarDeviant Thats your opinion but in my experience your opinion is common but incorrect. Ive been playing games such as counterstrike for over ten years. In that game its simply terrorists vs UN special forces. I can happily say Ive gladly wasted thousands of SAS and Delta. Thousands more terrorists. But when you face a real life enemy even in a real life military excercise youl have to take my word for it that you are certainly not desensitized.

@Darunatura You may think it’s harmless but WHY DO YOU THINK THESE GAMES ARE MADE THEY WAY THEY ARE: Indoctrination. Look at the Drones in the military. you see soldiers using PlayStation paddles to control Drones (Air, Land and sea). This was done on purpose. When the circumstances arise these video gamers will be TRAINED to operate as good little soldiers behind a computer screen thousands of miles away from the battle field.

@solarDeviant I think they are made the way they are to make money. And as an engineer I was pleased at the choice to use a gamepad. Here in the UK I have seen the xbox 360 pad used for drones and bomb disposal robots. Its well designed, ergonomic and most of all a familiar tool to the operator. Also you dont need to caps key words in your typing people can still read them in lowercase. Gaming is harmless your just behaving the same way as the last generation dealt with films.

Whether it's the people against the state, or the state against the people, it doesn't really matter. They're just blurring the line and confusing the issue so everyone is a potential enemy and a potential threat - whilst they advocate violence by saying ''are you tough enough to shoot a fellow countryman?'' Kids will lap this stuff up and won't even know which way is up - it just turns everything into more of a video game than it already is for them, so they'll shoot anything that moves..

@TheResistanceV not sure if i can totally agree with you. if you put the game into the right context i belief you can explain a lot to kids but i do agree that they are not totally innocent either. the propaganda is there in way more subtle forms than outright shooting a civilian npc. names, one liners, parts of a text you read to understand the next part/lore of your game. imo they really brought this report in the wrong way and could point out more without this retarded text limit on youtube

@TheResistanceV i never said children are not affected by such ingame actions but it's very easy to blame the games when parents let them play those things unwatched for hours and hours. but i guess it's easier this way...like i said, there is a lot more hidden in story lines and characters than "just" shooting things.
if you let a child play with anything without properly looking at it yourself, who's the fool?

I have been a gamer for a long time and yes I saw that article and yes the game described in that article and some other games are NWO propoganda and are brainwashing some very weak minded people. Where Alex Jones and Aaron Dykes lose me and I am sure many other listeners who are games lose us on this issue is assuming that all violent video games are exactly the same when that is not the case. The Assassin Creed Series for example is fairly violent yet it also has a strong anti NWO message.

@Bertram2323 You're 22 years old by your profile. I'm 51 and raised 5 kids. My youngest is 17. Not to be nasty or anything but I don't think you're qualified to or will be, to hold the opinion that you do for another 30 years. I've been aware of this crap for years and fighting it. But at every level of interaction your kids have with others, such as friends, school, media, computers etc etc It is a difficult job and you have to tread carefully because if you push too hard you lose them.

Im in the media industry. These days more people buy these games then watch movies. The study of the psychology of interactive experiences is known as ludology. Ludology is something of hidden field, and it is therefore largely underestimated and underrated by those outside the industry itself. Im only a 3rd year university student. I would be interested in making a simple game about fighting the globalist. I need game play ideas.
