I have a project waiting to build: sealed maelstrom 21" with 2.4kw of class AB DVC monoblocks and custom toroids for HT usage. I get where your ride is coming from ;) Lots of people bag on the MTX/big subs but I bet would cry if they metered their rig vs big cones at 20hz for output and distortion.

if you own an SUV its almost impossible to eliminate all rattle, but if you use spray foam and dynamat you can get rid of most of the rattle. i got a mazda 6 that pounds and nothing rattles inside and on the outside only the cover that covers the license plate lights rattle. having a subwoofer is one thing but elimnating the rattle so its pure bass shaking the neighbourhood its awesome

I can tell you are judging the sound from a video that really sounds nothing like it does in person...you need to understand that the camera will not take high spl well and it's mic is not designed to record that high of spl levels, it distorts...bad.

No replacement for displacement. Some people hate that and bag on big subs, say 'they're slow'. Perhaps best to first learn about B/L ratio, sensitivity, cone area and many other factors influencing efficiency and output.

This sub is only powered only 1/4 you'll never power it up with MTX amps, you have the sub to shatter your windshield but not even a bit close on the amps I work for MTX and these subs were never ment to be powered up to a peak point with any of our amps. Yes we do recomend you some of our amps but that is only a part of our job. Sorry to let you know this but your amps are only a waste of money.

And I would like to see a vid from the dude saying a 12" can walk on a 21", it's just not plausable given both subs were in ideal conditions, now a DD Z 12" possibly might give you a run for your money in the lanes, but between a 12" and a 21" that's a hhhhuuuugggggeeee cone are difference...

This sub is only powered only 1/4 you'll never power it up with MTX amps, you have the sub to shatter your windshield but not even a bit close on the amps I work for MTX and these subs were never ment to be powered up to a peak point with any of our amps. Yes we do recomend you some of our amps but that is only a part of our job. Sorry to let you know this but your amps are only a waste of money.
