Unfortunately jesus was as devine as my pet hamster. Why would turning to a desert myth be any more logical that trying to explain things with a scientific approach?

Yes, how "anglocentric" of me to want people to use the English language correctly.

  • Not everyone is a native English speaker. One should be able to enter a discussion without the harassment of bullshitting about spelling all the time.

  • If your argument cannot be understood, what good is it?

  • Arguments are hardly dependent on spelling.

The structures of logic apply in every language.

  • agreed, but if it is unclear what this person is saying, the entire point is lost.

You're not a religious person talking about logic are you?

  • I'm a logic person talking about religion ;)

  • Wording is very important in this case as well. You can be a logical person talking about religion, but you can't be a religious person talking logically about anything.

As soon as you devote your life to believing in fairytales, logic goes out the window.

  • Great stuff. Thanks rgbda.

  • "Ovicide"

I had no idea Dennett could be this funny.

  • you cut off the vid in the middle of a point he was making.

  • my apologies, he concludes in the video response section.
