Its not irish "line dancing", the violins are called fiddles in irish traditional music and the "drum" is called a bodhran!!haha....good dancers though.
@niamhy11 hahaha I know, it's too bad about the line dancing thing. Technically in our case the violins could be either fiddle OR violin; we play both. And "drum" is easier for people to say. ;-) hehehe
@IDance56781 correct, she is definitely not the only dancer from the PNW ever to qualify, she was just the youngest dancer to qualify from the PNW when she qualified at the Western Region Oireachtas. :-) There are MANY talented dancers representing the NW at the Worlds every year.

Most people in germany and other german speaking countries like austria and switzerland say "Riverdance" or "Irish Tap Dance" cause they know the dance shows only. I´m a tradional irish dancer myself. I dance at an AnCom school in Munich
What is with him calling it 'line dancing'? I've heard so many people call it so many other things as well; riverdancing, clogging, tap dancing...is is that hard to say "irish dance?"
@reeltreble1994 hahahaha Solana still moans about that every time she watches this. She thought the microphone was "really" picking up the voices. hehehe ;-)
