  • I will always sing along to this song as soon as I hear it.. yes, it feels like summer in my heart.

  • YOU SPELLED IT WRONG ! ! ! ITS The Spiral Starecase NOT spiral staircase..

  • @TheEldoradKId-- yes it reminds of Saturday, too. The sunny Saturday morning early September, 1969 when I made a fool of myself the night before and called up the best looking girl in my junior high to ask her to be my girlfriend. Needless to say it wasn't well received on her end and I woke up the next day (Saturday) hearing this song being played on Dick Clark's American bandstand. It wasn't a pleasant feeling that morning as I am sure you would realize.

  • The bass drum work in this song is to cool to try and explain it .

  • Pecka

  • Heigh Ddarkshark, thanks for shining the bright light of day on those two haters.

  • 2 dislikes,that's funny.Stupid dumbasses

  • One of the most achingly romantic songs of all time....

  • It's funny, I've heard people say either Cher or Stevie Wonder sang this song.

  • @mikesb69 Yeah, they do all sound alike. I thought at first that it was Stevie Wonder, but I later on found out that it's not.

  • @redonejs53 I thought it was Stevie Wonder, then it was Todd Rundgren. However, it is netiher one of us.

  • Who are the 2 knuckleheads who didn't like this....

  • @centralparocker --the two knuckleheads who didn't like this song have been identified, because of your request, they are: Jack W Kranfield of Spokane Washington, and the other is Wanita Mendez of Soux Flla Iowa. I hope you are satisfied knowing who they are. Many undercover professionals and many taxpayer dollars went into

bringing you this information. But as long as your curiousity is now at peace, we here at the Commission of Truth

    remain at your service.

  • @ddarkshark Mon that's stickin to them, LOL. Thanks for the laugh. LOL

  • Heard this song on my honeymoon in Niagra Falls on leave from the USAF! I'm still with that wonderful lady 41 years later and this song says it all when you're with the right companion.

    no taste

  • I call this, and similar 60s light folk rock, "60s kite-flying music". It reminds me of a sunny spring saturday afternoon, flying my kite at a beach or in a park, and just running around for the sheer joy of celebrating life! Glad I was there, then to do that! Can't find it now...

  • @TheEldoradoKid I was born in the 80's and I can tell you, I wish I was around for those times. Music like this is what inspires me to live my life to the fullest.
