Stop comparing this to the Corvette!! Its a weaker engine (tuning, pistons, rods, S/C size) AND its heavier!!! Of COURSE its bad ass but fuck it IS NOT a ZR1 so STOP comparing it to a VETTE!!!
Motortrend December 2009 showed the HPE650 doing an 11.9 at 121.3 mph trap. Although impressive it's a long way off from a 130mph+ trap speed. Notice also the lateral acceleration is 0.95 and the 0-100mph time 7.9 secs. Again impressive but still a long way off from the ZR1. Will the HPE700 Improve on those times? Most likely, yes but I'm still not sure it will be as fast as the Corvette ZR1 for the same or less money.
The ZR1 is capable of mid to high second 10s in the quarter. It also can go well over 200mph ~208 mph actually. It has trapped 133mph in the quarter mile completely stock! Just check utube for proof. The Camaro is an awesome car but the reason I bring up the ZR1 for comparison is because once you do the mods on the Camaro you're spending about the same money as the Corvette. The ZR1 will out accelerate, brake and corner that Camaro. Fact!
I think u got ur cars mixed up buddy....the ZR1700 was the one that did the 10.9sec 1/4 mile with a smaller pulley and a tune. Stock, ZR1's do 11.2-11.4 depending on the driver. The Hpe650 has 612whp and does 11.9secs in the quarter mile, so it's not too far fetched to say that the hpe700 with 691whp (about 800hp @ the crank) is almost, if not just as fast as the stock ZR1 is and it will be around the same price, id imagine b/c its a limited edition...i think only 50 are being made or something
what other modifications have they made besides an engine swap, and vulgar paint/wheels? i hope they didn't just take the shelby root, which is up the power by about 9000 then leave everything else standard.
KW Variant 3 Suspension, Brembo Big Brake Upgrade, Aero Kit... yes they have addressed all instances of the car to make it from a normal SS Camaro to a LS9 Supercar

Besides logically anything with that much power/torque to the wheels it will have wheel spin whether you like it or not. Even the ZR1 has wheel spin. You can't assume the 650 and 700 handle good cause they tweak the suspension its not that easy to make a car with that power handle good.
Most cars that do good times on the tracks have HP in 300-400 maybe 500 area.

The Independant rear axle is the main component that makes it possible for the Camaro and solid live axle is what hampers the mustang when it comes to handling. Had u watched the video on the 650 vs. Supersnake vs. Speed Challenger, you would have seen that, and they even stated how well the camaro handled. Do some research buddy.

How much did you spend for that 312BHP? Too much. I've spent one grand on my 353, and it's putting 325 to the wheels. These LSX engines can make more then 1000HP without forced induction. Lets see you do that to your engine, it'll cry to be put in a weed whacker.

lol if u didnt realize, the Supersnake is actually an aftermarket car as well. The Camaro's are available to be ordered at any dealer with GM's warranty as well as Hennessey's warranty.

....b/c that is the hp rating at the wheels, not at the crank. The hpe700 is actually making about 800hp @ the crank with an 18% driveline loss, bringing it to just under 700hp(691hp to be exact) at the rear wheels.

Motortrend December 2009 showed the HPE650 doing an 11.9 at 121.3 mph trap. Although impressive it's a long way off from a 130mph+ trap speed. Notice also the lateral acceleration is 0.95 and the 0-100mph time 7.9 secs. Again impressive but still a long way off from the ZR1. Will the HPE700 Improve on those times? Most likely, yes but I'm still not sure it will be as fast as the Corvette ZR1 for the same or less money.

The ZR1 is capable of mid to high second 10s in the quarter. It also can go well over 200mph ~208 mph actually. It has trapped 133mph in the quarter mile completely stock! Just check utube for proof. The Camaro is an awesome car but the reason I bring up the ZR1 for comparison is because once you do the mods on the Camaro you're spending about the same money as the Corvette. The ZR1 will out accelerate, brake and corner that Camaro. Fact!

I think u got ur cars mixed up buddy....the ZR1700 was the one that did the 10.9sec 1/4 mile with a smaller pulley and a tune. Stock, ZR1's do 11.2-11.4 depending on the driver. The Hpe650 has 612whp and does 11.9secs in the quarter mile, so it's not too far fetched to say that the hpe700 with 691whp (about 800hp @ the crank) is almost, if not just as fast as the stock ZR1 is and it will be around the same price, id imagine b/c its a limited edition...i think only 50 are being made or something

Besides logically anything with that much power/torque to the wheels it will have wheel spin whether you like it or not. Even the ZR1 has wheel spin. You can't assume the 650 and 700 handle good cause they tweak the suspension its not that easy to make a car with that power handle good.
Most cars that do good times on the tracks have HP in 300-400 maybe 500 area.

And actually, its a lot easier than u think. The Independant rear axle is the main component that makes it possible for the Camaro and solid live axle is what hampers the mustang when it comes to handling. Had u watched the video on the 650 vs. Supersnake vs. Speed Challenger, you would have seen that, and they even stated how well the camaro handled. Do some research buddy.

2 Issues with this car.
1: It probably handles bad.
2. 691 WHP is really bad especially when I bet this car will have trouble getting the HP down. Gonna have a lot wheel spin as well.
