I read it was the end of the Greek Mythology trilogy in God of War. And Santa Monica said that they will develop a Norse Mythology one, I think there's certainly gonna be a new character. It's gonna be easier this time. The crew has experience with the PS3 and work developed in GOW 3 Can be used as well like the lighting, shaders etc...

I heard this a while back. They MIGHT make more games, where Kratos takes on the Norse Gods, like Thor and whatnot. If they were to do that, it'd be completely improvization.

That being said, the Norse gods and Greek gods bear many similairites, but many differences at the same time. I have an idea, maybe Aphrodite got pregnant after Kratos fucked her, and she had a son. He was half god, like Kratos.

Maybe he goes on to fight the Norse gods or something. Dunno, my idea sucks, haha.

i recently beat gow3 and i dont think KRATOS is dead. at the end it shows KRATOS lying in a pool of his own blood. after the credits it shows the same pool of blood except KRATOS isnt there anymore and there is a trail of bloody footsteps. suspicious??? I also have a theory on some of the story in this... in some of the extra stuff at the end of GoW1, there's a part that talks about Kratos's brother who wasn't fit to enter the Agoge, and was left to die. He lived in hell, and grew to adulthood there.

Now, those extras were mostly non- canon, as they didn't hold up to the sequels, but in GoW3, there was a note in the underworld... I think it was written by Kratos's brother!

2. This isn't a sequal to the PS3 it's a prequal in between two of the games so it doesn't matter if it ends here.

Ghost of sparta take place during God of war one. It displays in great detail what kratos did for Ares after he gave him his soul. The original God of war game, tells the story of who kratos was and how he became the Ghost of sparta, but then if changes into kratos going after Ares after he killed his wife and child, God of war 1 never tells in great details what kratos did for Ares before he meet paths with the old lady......Ghost of Sparta will do just that!!!!!!

jesus, kratos may or may not be dead, this game, was made for ps3 not AFTER the god of wars 1, 2 or 3 its before them, this game was made to show whythe gods chose Kratos an how he got his rad mark, i think at the end of GOD 3 you saw blood along the floor from where kratos lay is probly to leave the franchise open incase anoth company may want to make a sequil to the game.
