  • Whoaa...! Great playing, great tone. PJ is funky, smooth, articulate and has something to say! That is also one lovely sounding pedal, is it analogue?

  • LOVE IT and surely would like to meet this fantastic guitarist someday!!!!

  • smooth^infinity ∞

  • Now that is a Rig Rundown I wanna see! Great tone

  • @SixStringHarmonies - yeah, the guy behind all those great rhythm guitar tracks with all the sounds and techniques to fill on the gaps... that's a great rig to break down. He should do an extended series on DVD covering the entire spectrum of effects and how he's used them in real world situations, giving examples of setups he used in many of his recordings along the way of demoing his approach to using them all..... would be priceless.

  • ¡Oh! Yea! You do it again! Master!!! God blessed you!!!

  • truly a great guitar player!

  • Fuck!!! That killed! They should pay ya!!!

  • he could come to here in Brazil and play a real samba with the rights instruments...would be nice!

  • yeaaa doc!!

  • Yes :)

  • Awesome and now with PRS

  • The concept of this song has got to be taken from George Benson & Earl Klugh's "Brazilian Stomp". Same kinda feel and structure!!

  • @20103million I totally agree with you. But don't you think that this is a better song? With all due respect for George benson of course.

  • @HeilTheOperator

Paul's execution might be just as good and I'm probably one of his biggest fans but melodically, I like "Brazilian Stomp" better, but that's just myyyy preference.

  • Great Groove Fusion!

  • WOW PAUL higher¡¡¡¡

  • So good!

  • Simply NASTY.........He's a living legend and some.

  • I love the way what Mr. Paul Jackson plays the guitar. 1000++++++ Stars

  • I have never found a single peice of sheet music for Paul Jacksons music. I would love to have some. Paul Jackson is without a doubt the best guitar player I have ever seen. Does anybody know where to find any sheet music by Paul?

  • That's it right there.

  • that was nice nice nice.. what guitar?

  • PRS 512

  • @ajfx i think the 512 is a double cut. this guitar looks like a semi hollow w humbuckers, single cut . check the f holes.

  • Paul. You are my guitar hero!!!!

  • Paul. Tou are my guitar hero!!!!

  • I hate to be one of those guys that asks those "what song is that?" questions, but, what's the name and artist of that blues song in the beginning of the video? Thanks. By the way, I've gotta say, great sounding pedal. Very smooth. Thanks again.

  • Wow!!!!! Oh my........... speechless. Paul Thx so much your such an inspiratino and a blessing. God bless!

  • Reminds me of my auto wah and my mutron

  • take that elevator to the jacuzzi...

  • master

  • This is the man! I just got his DVD "The science of Rhythm Guitar" which I was waiting to come out on DVD from the video for years - The man lives in the pocket!

  • your alright nothing ive seen before just the same old stuff

  • The quintessential studio musician. Just love how he uses the certain tools he does to get sounds that are clean and perfect for anything from commercials, movies, cd's, etc...

  • Absolutely fantastic guitar playing!!!

  • Paul rocks!

  • its like i was stuck in an elevator and couldn't get out

  • In addition to being a recording artist in his own right, Jackson is also highly accomplished L.A. session player, with a career spanning multiple decades and playing on projects from Michael Jackson's Thriller and Bad to numerous recordings by artists from Whitney Houston, Thomas Anders and Patti LaBelle to rockers like Chicago to jazz greats such as Dave Koz, Al Jarreau, David Benoit, Marcus Miller and Kirk Whalum.Jackson can be seen playing guitar in a wide variety of styles on American Idol.

  • This legend had played all over the Thriller Album.

That was his funk licks on Billie Jean.

    And on Lionel Ritchie's "hello".

The best R&B session guitarist ever.

  • Doesnt he know he could use his feet to switch effect on/off

    :P

  • I believe he was trying to advertise how to operate the xotic robotic 2 so it's more or less an advert than a jam session, hence the hand use.

    My opinion though.

  • @kongizza I believe godluckyhoward was joking.

  • total perfection!! Paul is such a master!!

  • Some people's children....

  • So that's what Carl Winslow has been up to ever since Family Matters got cancelled

  • Nice..... Jeez man, what are you 4?

    Paul's an incredible musician.

  • What I meant to say was that I had no idea Carl Winslow was such an incredible musician, I think he's brilliant!

  • HAHAHAAH

  • @ultimateGodhead

Among Mr Jackson television appearances are 17 episodes of American Idol, 19 episodes of Don't Forget the Lyrics and 2 episodes of America's Got Talent. Each time he appeared as himself, the musician. He does have one acting credit; as Chuma in the TV series Cowboy In Africa

  • @ultimateGodhead I think it was when Harriot gave him the boot..so he became a jazz kat.

  • @JAZZSTARish you are wild for this one steve urkle my be his manger!lol

  • lol awesome comment

  • I cant stop laughing.. thats so underhanded!

  • @ultimateGodhead

Mr Jackson may favor the actor who plays that role. However, that part was played by a gentleman who is a veteran of the small screen as well as movies. The actor's name is Reginald VelJohnson. One of Reginald's other prominent roles was as Captain Al Powell in Die Hard: Vendetta

  • @ultimateGodhead This is the funniest fucking comment I have ever seen on youtube

  • @ultimateGodhead Rippin!

  • @ultimateGodhead Rippin on American idol!

  • @guitarsvolta yea he is the only reasoni look at amrican idol!
