  • With that kind of form, its better he isnt pulling some real weight, hes doing them wrong anyway. It looks more like a squat then a pull through. Plus hes using his arms aswell. He should follow the cable down.

  • What the fuck are you even talking about, chinwaggler. It's called a form video, he's not trying to hit a new PR. No shit he won't get very big using that weight. Especially since it's not really a mass exercise anyway.

  • the purpose of this exercise is not to get big.. Its to strengthen your hips (which can help with dead lifting)

  • Pull throughs should be done with no knee flexion, just hip extension as that is the purpose of the exercise (to strengthen the hip extensors - glutes, hamstrings and lower back NOT the quadriceps). The exercise shown looks more like a cable squat.
