@khif13 Not really. This has nothing to do with Harry Potter. Ralph Fiennes is an incredible actor, before and after Harry Potter. His performance as Goth in Schindler's List was haunting, aswell as his portrayal as Dolarhyde in Red Dragon. It's shame now that all the little kiddies just associate him as Voldermort.

In Bruges was much more subtle and straight forward and the dark humor is found in the overt sense of the situation. Death at a funeral was dark humor found in escalating obscurity.

I just watched this today, 28th of July 2011, n I dont know how to express it in words. It just blew my mind away, I couldnt believe it even after watching it, how awesome it was. Superb, super great movie with super great acting from all of the cast. I cant believe it that I never even heard of it from anyone else, just got it from somewhere by accident n wasnt even into watching it really, but just did anyways, n it did its magic. Even the tone of voice used in the trailer for the most part is a lot less dramatic then in the movie.

The first hour and ten/ fifteen minutes is very funny , but then for the last fifteen minutes it suddenly becomes very serious and very sad . There's one scene in particular towards the end that was one of those shocking / I didn't expect that scenes which was very hard hitting and quite graphic, once I saw it I couldn't stop thinking about it , it also doubles up as not just one of the most graphic scenes but one of the saddest aswell. Awesome movie though, Colin Farrell is very, very funny
