Jeeze, alot of you sure are closed-minded. I thot metal was supposed to about freedom to express yourself loudly and aggressively. And freedom entails expression of ANY viewpoint, CHRISTIANITY included! Otherwise, saying you have to be atheist or satanist to be metal is just as biased as some of these so-called Christians. I'm a Christian, and metal is awesome. Music is neutral in nature. And for the record, Horde helped pioneer the style of modern day black metal. Look it up. Hail Horde!

I would think they could change the name of the genre so it isn't the oxymoron Christian Black Metal. Horde has some good music it just shouldn't be called or associated with Black Metal.

If you ask any christian metal act today, they won't say "We're a christian black metal band" or whatev, they'll say "We're a black metal band" and they just so happen to be Christian. Anyone's ideals will leak out in their music no matter who they are. If it sounds likes black metal, and looks like black metal, is it black metal?
