hey, I have a problem in this level-in the beginning, as the orcs are coming over the side of the wall, about 3-4 orcs remain on the other side. They don't come out at all. Can anyone help?

@NAREK139 By the way, I found a way which sortof works. If the orcs are close to the wall, use the minimap till ur standing right in front of them. Then, as a mage, use a firewall on that part of the wall. It works sometimes, but not always. I could do it for the first wave, but there was still 1 orc left in the second wave. U can still kill him, by a firewall or the nearby ballista, if u can get it to land on him. Thats the tough part.

Oblivion may be a joke next to Morrowind in terms of gameplay, but this game was REALLY bad. The online was dead since it's release, the voice overs are REALLY bad, and it's just not that fun. I played through it once and never felt the urge to touch it again.

This game wasn't all that great. I'm an avid LOTR fan, and I was disappointed with this. As a game itself, three stars. A lot of things could've been better. As a game supposed to embody the sheer power and epic proportions of Tolkein's world . . . Sorry, but this had a looooooooooooong way to go.

@LegoLink5 Dude, just stop looking into it so much, it's an interpretation of the film interpretation of the book. Some things are going to be inaccurate. Talking's kind of necessary to convey orders, Faramir could have easily picked up an ax from any of the dead bodies, and Frodo couldn't fight because of the influence of the Ring and the Nazgul.

wow... and i thought wizards were rare in the LOTR world... hence that's why they were a revered people? Gandalf mentions there are few that remain and that they keep to themselves. But of the few left, Saruman was the first and last of them to be tainted. Wizards were liable to maintaining the balance and never take sides in a war unless this balance is disturbed.

Plus there was never a wizard (except Gandalf and Saruman, and the Witch King) to ever enter the war at all...

@ElenaTheEldar *all in my opinion* The voice-overs. None of the characters sounded even remotely right, and the narrating guy (i think officer or something) always sounded a bit over-dramatic. The combat system was alright, but if you got into a fight with a group, you were easily screwed. The missions seemed a bit pointless at times, like th Pelennor fields, where all it really was, was fighting infantry and shooting balistas and catapults/etc. I hvn't plyed in 2 mnths so I can't say much more.

I actually find that the Battle for Middle Earth was the most accurate to the book. In that game, Frodo and Sam were already with you and they weren't captured when Faramir assaulted the Haradrim, in the evil campaign Frodo was never separated from Sam, the ents attacked Isengard because they decided it was a good idea, not because Pippin got Treabeard angry, and there were a few more subtle connections to the book. Sure there were a few things that were made up but that just made it more fun.

Dude ranger is by far the best. You can hit targets from a disctance and sometimes kill like 6 in one hit. Scout is pretty good too, with the stealth invisiblilty and the bombs. Thos are kickass.
