in the touristic locations you won´t have big troubles to comunicate, the sales persons speak or at least understand some english, they are used to recieve tourists that don´t speak portuguese, spanish would also help a lot cus it´s very simillar to the portuguese, and if not you can also make some mimics lol You will learn a lot of portuguese at least the more basic words, if you wanna come you are welcome, enjoy your trip! in the touristic locations you won´t have big troubles to comunicate, the sales persons speak or at least understand some english, they are used to recieve tourists that don´t speak portuguese, spanish would also help a lot cus it´s very simillar to the portuguese, and if not you can also make some mimics lol You will learn a lot of portuguese at least the more basic words, if you wanna come you are welcome, enjoy your trip!
