@zephite That. and the fact that the cave is more "purple'ish" in the newer one than the cave in this game. Just look at it in a side by side comparison and you'll understand what I mean.
@gamefreak1000000 There are a lot of reasons; usually it is because of the hardware resolution. the DS can handle more colors and textures on the screen at once than the GBA. Additionally, when a game is remade, certain areas are changed to comply with the standards of other games in the series. Also, due to advancements in hardware and coding, areas are changed to look more like how the artist envisioned the level. The Unknown Dungeon was never in Gold/Silver, so this was remade from scratch.
i caought mewtwo on leafgreen with my level 50 calm minding slowbro. i used ultra balls till mewtwo used struggle, then used timer balls. TIMER BALLS ARE THE KEY!.
Shame you lost. Just picked up my copy of LeafGreen from a friend, he's had it for a while and I got pretty nostalgic. I faintly recall becoming very frustrated with myself for not saving before my fight with Mewtwo and then using Guillotine instead of Crabhammer... >.>
Wow, he looks soo different in this game from Soul Silver. What gives?
gamefreak1000000 6 months ago
@gamefreak1000000 FireRed was made before SoulSilver.
zephite 6 months ago
@zephite And what about heart gold and leaf green?
gamefreak1000000 6 months ago
@gamefreak1000000 SoulSilver was paired with HeartGold and both were released at the same time, just like FireRed and LeafGreen were.
zephite 6 months ago
@zephite Oh that's right. Why is cave darker in the newer one than the older one?
gamefreak1000000 6 months ago
@gamefreak1000000 What exactly do you mean by "darker?" Like, having to use Flash?
