I have seen people try to enforce sharia law in my district (or get it to be enforced). islam is the religion of piece: a piece of you here and a piece of you there. These pictures are idealised pictures as there are no actual ones that exist. But Jesus was the most perfect and beautiful human being. He suffered hugely for mankind and gave us his life. That is real drama and none can follow this. I'm humbled and so happy that his pain and love are remembered and celebrated today, despite how bad this world is, against all odds.

It didn't occur to me that he/she was being an attention seeker, but sometimes we see a particular fault in others because that is what we need to work on in our lives. Come to think of it, lack of humility and attention-seeking probably goes hand in hand. We all need work in those areas. :)

According to the scripture you believe in, the prayers of ALL believers will be GRANTED. Not considered, not mulled over... GRANTED. Do you think you're the first person I've encountered in my 42 years who claimed he or she would pray for me to "find god" or some such nonsense?

But, I do believe that all prayers are answered and God's answers are not always yes. Sometimes, it's an outright no and there are times the answer is yes, but wait.

Let me clue you in a bit; People have been claiming they'd pray for me to "receive god" or some such nonsense for nearly three decades. That's an awful lot of time during which no such thing has occurred.

I dont really believe in the god we're told about but I do believe everyone has a personal god, whatever it may be. I have nothing against anyone having their own beliefs, they are entitled to it as much as I am to mine. I love gospel music and hymns they are so relaxing and calming

Whether religion is true or "a load of bollocks" makes no difference, people are entitled to believe what they want to believe it, whether it's catholic, jwish muslim, whatever. The only way we'll know if there really is a god is when we are gone and if there isnt then what does it matter, believing in a God has gotten many people through very tough times and if someone of 16 years old can see that why cant older people, the world is too full of contridiction if only there was more respect :(
