It's unclear whether or not Alex intentionally misrepresented his shoddy record as project manager in attempt to avoid scrutiny, but it is clear that he has been in the boardroom too often. A five week losing streak pales in comparison to Tana's strong past performances - she was very wise to pull out that maneuver. She certainly lacked fire, but somebody with Alex's losing streak should not make it to the final three.

On this task, a bedazzler wasn't necessary. However, I wouldn't mock the device. It's nice if you're into fashion design, but when you only have a certain amount of time on your hands, you can't keep pending on something that's hard to find.

It was both fault that they didn't do great job of marketing. But Tana at least came up with some idea of putting beads and getting higher price for those who want it. Alex didn't do anything. He shouldn't have followed Tana to that island, rather he should have worked on marketing. Then they would have won. So, firing Alex is a good choice.

2. He wasn't a winner to begin with. 8 weeks of losing is a lot...Tana performance on the apprentice was good overall

Tana's record is what saved her from being fired. If she was being judged solely on this task, she would've been a goner, no question. At the same, Alex was snake from Stephanie, Angela, Chris, and Bren. After seeing him in the boardroom all those four times, I thought, "what a snake! He should've been gone a long time ago." Thank God, he didn't make it to the final three. I would've hated that.

I was a huge fan of Tana in Season 3...and I'm glad she wasn't fired this week...but this firing made no sense whatsover. The task was lost BECAUSE of Tana's bad decision...so weird...Trump has no consistency in his firings!
