  • THIS IS BOB MARLEY

  • What it would be for us all to be free...amazing,spending everyday as our own, doing as we want with family and friends, not tied down to a 9-5 just for money, wasting away making the fat cats fatter...why cant we roam open country? bob is the man

  • man if i would live in australia i would roam the open country every day (at least there is open country left) but where i live almost everything is concrete and luxury shoping malls that i cant aford :(

but we can do it, i belive it is posible!

  • is it called 3'oclock road block or rebel music? Bone thugs madea remix of this called rebel music, but is that what the originals called?

  • Rastafari is always about boys hanging arround. Lets hear the african woman! Their stories are much more interresting.

Don't ask me no questions; i tell you no lies!

  • woman are boring sorry that's why

  • wtf feminist rhetoric are you self-hypnotized about? No place for any of that in rastafari. None.

  • LOL...funny!!

  • Let people do as they desire ... Marley discribes beautifully

  • Oliver is the man!!!! on the back of the bike....He was always so funny..I cant believe how fast time fly...Both on the bike been acting together for years...Those where the good old days in Jamaica. I miss those days so much....IT WILL NEVER COME BACK OR EVER BE THE SAME...All we have now is memories...

  • Sitting in the U.S.A remembering childhood days in Jamaica and watching this Jamaican classic...BIG UP A FELLOW JAMAICANS...UNNU LARGE!! SOON GUH A MI YAAD OUTTA DIS!!

  • Oliver as in Oliver Samuels?

  • ignore that one below it was for another window sorry

  • it is Rivers Of Babylon by the Melodians, it was used in the nyabinghi because some of its lyrics are taken from the bible and because it was recorded on island so they had the license and didnt have to pay

  • does any one know the name of the song in the scene where all the rastafari's are doing the bong rotation at night?????

  • This movie as well as othe jamaican classics available at the (Disturbed Lion) website

  • hey anyone knows the name of the song in the scene where country man fights in the beach? minute 75 of the movie...

  • I haven't seen the movie in a while, but off the top of my head I think it was Bam Bam by Toots and the Maytals.

  • hey anyone knows the name of the song in the scene where country man fights in the beach? minute 75 of the movie...

  • Rebel music, freedom of the societies

  • in this scene, what you have seen was typical back in the day. smokers of the herb(ganga)would rather swallow a lighted spliff than throw it away. this eliminated the spliff being retrieved and used as evidence. in other instances, even if they are in a position to get rid of it, because it is high grade herb, they would rather keep it in their mouths, and endure the fire. that is what the movie is depicting. only jamaicans would do that.

  • the producers of this movie met a totally unknown, untrained, man by the name of dickie jackson and told him that they were going to write a movie script and make him a star. he had faith in them, and with no experience whatsoever, became countryman from the movie with the same name. big name actors like carl bradshaw, and the guys on the bike, rider, ronald goshop and pillion rider oliver samuels were featured.

  • Dickie Jackson was not country man, Country man's real name is Lothan. Dickie was a director/producer. I have the movie and the making of Countryman.

  • i will not argue, you may be right.

  • The producers name is Dickie Jobson not Jackson. The film countryman 2 is now in production and should be with us next year sometime.

Countryman is still alive and well living in JA with his wife and son.

  • I still see him on a number of occasions. In fact I spoke with him personally at the Sangsters International Airport a few years ago. He still remains humble, and appears not to age not even a single day.
