texas/oklahoma red dirt has some of the best ones out there, these guys were perfect live, saw them in wichita falls great performers and great guys, i hope they blow up huge, they deserve it.
I Love These guys! they are the only reason me and my dad still talk. haha jk alot of people dont know or dont like Reckless kelly but i say If everyone did like them they wouldnt be good. for example zac brown band they where good beofore they got famous and wayyy too over played. im a 16 year old girl from colorado and i think i know good music and this is it!!!
Okay, I grew up listening to The Braun Brothers (in Idaho). I'm assuming these guys as well as Mickey and The Motorcars are the children of the original Braun Brothers. Does anyone know?
i have to say, i grew up in south texas listening to all these red dirt country bands and the bigger the genre got and the more and more bad advice i got from a bunch of the songwriters the more i turned back to my punk roots. however, today... reckless is still and will always be one of my favorite bands.
Well, you might hear them in a city with a foward thinking station...used to hear them on X-Country before the XM/Sirius merger killed it...but basically, the best country music is coming from Texas and its not getting a ton of airplay...but I kinda hope it stays underground...I wish these bands all the best, but really...do you wanna see Reckless Kelly on the CMT Top 20 Countdown? I'm enjoying having them to ourselves.
Superr, I am from Alabama, but there are a LOT of TX country fans here...ya'll are doing it right over there. Going to see Monte Montgomery for like the 5th time next month in Nashville...he's not exactly country, but he is one of the best Texas exports...along with Eric Johnson.
