When I went to New York City just for a holiday - to have a nosey around - I made sure I smiled a lot at Immigration in JFK Airport, for fear they wouldn`t let me in. And I had every intention of coming back home. I - perhaps naively - thought the US just wouldn`t put up with it. Do your problems stem from a similar reason to ours ?

You may have alot of immigrants working in the NHS etc etc, but if mass immigration had never happened you would have had your own working in their place today. Spending money to train your own would have been great. Multiculturalism has many drawbacks. Human nature will never allow different people to live together without conflict of some sort.
