@Imadjinn Individual entrances would have been nice, but it would have taken forever to introduce all of them, and would have cut into the match time. I remember the Gimmick Battle Royal from WM 17. They gave everyone individual entrances, but the match itself wound up only being 3 minutes long.

"The Virgin Molly" wound up being more laughingstock than heel. The only time they really tried to get her over as a heel was her second Women's title reign. The rest of the time she was unmercifully ridiculed for having a big butt, or later for having no hair. They destroyed her credibility in the name of "entertainment". I wish they had left her as "Cousin Molly".

They may not have pushed her much as a wrestler in that first year, but they didn't try to make a fool out of her at every turn like they did in 2002 and 2004. "The Virgin Molly" never really got off the ground (to make that character work, she needed to be a cross between CM Punk and RTC-era Steven Richards), then they decided calling her "fat-ass" was a brilliant idea. She never recovered from the damage they did that year, even with a monster push as Women's Champ in 2003.

To clarify, I said her second reign as women's champion was the only time they really pushed her as a heel. During her first reign, they were still pushing the "junk in your trunk" angle. i always loved molly holly. she is prob one of the best if not the best female wrestler of all time. she got ahead in the company by not slutting around like most of them but by actually wrestling. i loved how she came in as a wrestlers and left as a wrestlers and not came in as the slut and left the wrestler.

Actually, Lita declined because she was doing an appearance elsewhere, but after the match took place, she said she was glad she missed it. Trish said she declined because she wanted to stay home and watch it with her family for once. Trish also said that when they contacted her about it, it sounded to her like there was no game plan for this match beyond throwing a bunch of women in the ring, and no mention of "Santina".

I was disappointed in how the WWE 25 Diva battle royal was handled. No introductions just coming in to kid rock. You wouldn't know who was in it until the diva gets thrown out. Molly and the other returning divas get no respect. WWE divas are being treated as jokes.
