  • OMG we were at the power plant the night jerry died. we were at one of the bars--the oldies club, i think...and we just all kinda moved to the bar where the TVs were and stayed there the rest of the night. jerry and al were so huge in that town. bigger than life.

  • last time i saw that i was 13 and in Baltimore.

  • Both Jerry Turner and Al Sanders made WJZ what it is today.. I miss them both terribly, as well as my mother. I remember on New Years 1986, my parents were going to go to a new years eve party, and found out that Jerry Turner passed away. They cancelled their plans and stayed home. We all cried that night! Dec 31, 1986 was a terrible day and it also was a terrible year. From 2008, I wish I could relive those days. The 80's were the best!

  • No, Jerry Turner Died in 1987

  • Growing up in Baltimore, Jerry Turner was a man we felt we could trust. While away at school (70's) Jerry died. My mom cried. She said, "he was in my home every night", more often than me. Bob Turk, the met)eorolgist for the same channel, is the son of a high school teacher of mine (Milfort Mill HS

  • But Both of them Died in 1987 and 1995 Respectively
