Here is a funny one i was in poland recently for three weeks and one day i was walking around and i saw a building site in Katowice with a sign in polish and english say ing "No Irish Welcome Workers" apart from the lousy translation it basically mean't no Irish need apply.I have never seen a sign in Ireland saying such bile here in Ireland>everybody should be made welcome here provided they fit two criteria.1 they work and 2 They try to assimilate as we would expect to do when we go abroad

@DavidL999 no i don't think so dav! had 2 polish guys work for half my wages and i was soon laid off after that. i went from that job straight into another but this happened all across the board in constrution and i blame the boss's more then the polish. but its ok for her to slag off ireland? if she don't like here then fk off, why live here so?

@boscoesarmy you must’ve seen some villages only,not plastered houses are just not finished yet cause we do not let developers build them professionals do that and believe me the standard is much higher, finish is better and you can’t hear your neighbour farting .The tower blocks were raised cause pop. of PL is 38 mln. You’re right with rep. rather than repl. and 1 more fact that cars are much older but in better cond.and IT eq. much older in Poland. I only say proven facts and still prefer IE!

for example :your education level gives our children much better future ,its much higher in Poland but unfortunately not useful in the world, second thing in my opinion is just friendly environment ,nice people ( don't mistake people with knackers)and maybe because we are sick of our stupid politicians ? so you see its not everything about he money ! actually I used to live on higher level in Poland but couldn't handle all the stress coming from everywhere, and the last thing -I hate snow !

@hnoyoutakethatback "Poland is a very poor country" well and how do you know da ? have you ever been there? its different purchasing power for sure and the national budget is really down but the level of life isn't necessary lover than in IE or UK ,I mean in general . Maybe people don't go on holidays twice per year but for example the houses are in much higher standard ,the shops offers much more and hospitals, schools etc represents much higher level .We may have diff reasons to live in IE

@ArubaIsland1 I have been to Poland and the Housing standards are much lower than Ireland. I seen alot of your houses 1in 3 houses are not even plastered on the outside. These houses are just block. The Finish on houses is much higher in Ireland. Polish people tend to fix everything rather then replace. I don't know who you are trying to bullshit. In the cities there are tower blocks after tower blocks of apartments. Standard much higher in Ireland.

I don’t see a reason to blame polish for an international crisis. Is you husband able to do my husbands job ? But there is a but...we came to IE 6 years ago sold our house in PL and bought new one in IE ,we are both working our kids go to school ,play GAA and we are paying a car worth amount of taxes each year , we brought plenty of mony to IE but havent sent a peny to PL ,in case I become unemployed should I leave my house ,childrens schools ,clubs ,friends and go home ??? be honest with me is it what you really think ?

@noyoutakethatbac Irish going to North America and Australia will not get one dime from these governments if there outa work.In most cases they are illegal in the country after 3-6 months and if they have no work they starve or come home. To finish with,Irish SHOULD NOT be allowed to go to another EU country and be able to claim social welfare and be a burden on those tax payers if outa work. France quiet rightly are sending Roma gypsies back to Romania as there a burden on the French Taxpayers

@munster2010 poland is a very poor country, if they go back to 50 euro a week what type of a life is that? a lot of the polish work/used to work in ireland. they have ties here, what about all the irish in hell hole estates who never worked? a lot of irish people are leaving who is going to replace them? the irish government cut the dole last budget from 204 to 196 euros per week, it is unlikely social welfare will be increased in the next budget and may be cut again,

I am going around in circles trying to get the same point across to you and you keep coming back to the same point. Once again,The Irish traditionally have been illegal in these countries and have never really had access to social welfare. The Irish have a reputation of been hard workers.As I said before, if there is work to go around, the Polish are welcome. If work is short or little then we'd prefer if they fucked off home and have their own people look after them. is that too much to ask?

@yarooco No,absolutely not. Why should they. Any Taxes the Polish paid from working paid for public transport buses and trains that they used.It paid for public utilities like clean water. It paid for public servants that processed their PPS numbers, their tax forms. It paid for the repairs to roads that they drove on, it paid for the new roads that they drove on. It paid for hospitals if they or their children were sick. It paid for schools so their children could go to school. Amount owed = 0

@yarooco Secondly.The amount paid out to Polish families and Single Polish people is multiples of what was contributed in Taxes which I have already told you was used in running the country. Ireland was running at a deficit every year in running the country even during the boom. The Polish are getting more in welfare in Ireland then what they would get paid working in Poland. Is that fair on Irish people to carry this burden ?

The problem is-banking sector, not foregins and it is not right. Average salary in Poland is 850e per month and cost of living is two times less than here...

i used to dislike polish having worked with some of them and thought they where very mean/scabby and tought they were better than irish but having visted poland a few times more recently ive found them to be lovely decent generous people who have only good things to say about Ireland i think we get more of the scumbags over here dont slag polish till you have been to poland!

You name it and its over priced even with the recession prices are still outa whack. Here is a funny one i was in poland recently for three weeks and one day i was walking around and i saw a building site in Katowice with a sign in polish and english say ing "No Irish Welcome Workers" apart from the lousy translation it basically mean't no Irish need apply.I have never seen a sign in Ireland saying such bile here in Ireland>everybody should be made welcome here provided they fit two criteria.1 they work and 2 They try to assimilate as we would expect to do when we go abroad

@Pedomaxlies03 When all imigrants had work,and lots of them was working in Ireland for 6 and more years they paid taxes,they didnt pay tax in they country so social welfare can not be paid.So its they right to get social welfare in country where they worked.When those immigrants where working,there was to many irish who didnt bother to work and they got lot higher allowances then now.Thats why there is such a pain in so many people.

our company stoped hireing them ...some of the other eastern european countrys have great workers, and nice people....we just wont give work to polish anymore ..we paid good money..holiday pay.... let them use company cars vans etc for weekends..and they throw it back in our face ..they ring health and safety over nothing, and try and claim u are racist... all just to be nasty..there trouble....polish cvs ..no thank u ..
